1st visit with our Grandkids and would have been 5 stars. Entry price was high end but we were told all inclusive which it was except on one activity we would have to pay £5 per child to slide down an inflated slide. Why at these prices do the owners need to catch visitors out for extra money and spoil the day. The rides were very good, clean and well maintained, the highlight was the railway ride. The cafe we went to was very good with a good selection of food, nice staff and acceptable prices.The staff on all the rides and in the Zoo were also very good.
Pity we left with just a hint of grasping for the extra money.

For kids - great. Playpark is lovely, zoo is ok. Really disappointed with lack of vegan options across the cafes. One member of staff offered me semi skimmed milk when asked for milk alternatives. Too much plastic! A place like this should set an example - caring for animal welfare = caring for the world. Plastic forks, plastic cups, plastic straws - totally unnecessary. Education centre was great but would be even better to have some signs and talks about the exhibition.

Just love this little family zoo. Well thought out, packed with kid-friendly attractions, great animals, nice rides and play areas, and good educational material. Pricey, but it is an all day experience.
