Brilliant for families with younger children. Lovely day out with zoo, adventure ay areas, rides and splash pad. Lockers are useful too. Queues not too long. Often no queues at the end of the day.

Expensive day out if not using clubcard vouchers but kids had a brilliant day (6, 8 and 9). More than enough to fill the day. Only downside were some activities at extra cost inside which is disappointing with such an expensive ticket price. Absolutely no wasps which was a nice surprise as most parks have loads!

Not a bad zoo, need bigger enclosures for some of the animals though.

This place is really good for small children with lots to see and do both in the zoo and the park. Food outlets are good but there is also a very nice picnic area.
Finaly unlike some of the bigger parks you don't get the hard sell for pictures and it does not have a gift shop at the end of every attraction.

A Great day out.

Definitely the best small zoo. I hadn't been here for probably 20 years and what a change in that time. So much for the entire family to learns DN do. The staff were friendly, helpful and really enthusiastic about the animals. Special shout out to the lady in the Lemur walkthrough on Monday 16th Aug!

This has got to be the best zoo in England as you can spend days in here. We only just managed to get to do everything here but had to rush to get through it. Tons of stuff for the kids and a great day out. Ideally you need a couple of days here to really enjoy everything here. But great value for money, and to be honest once you ha e been here no other zoo comes close.

Great little gem, been in the winter and it was mostly closed, went on the 13th August and it was all open and glorious, only thing I didn't like was there was no scattered entrance times so we were all huddling around the animals at the beginning which could be easily avoided, other than that...we loved it

It's good there but I wasn't the only one who noticed that some of the animals seemed a bit distant. They were all scratching I'm assuming fleas but they seem quite affected by it. They almost looked not real where they looked so spaced out and not moving. They just stared into one spot then have a scratch then back to looking at one spot like they were on something. The cafe shouldn't be closed so early and give people a chance to eat while having time to see everything. Not worth the nearly 200 I paid for 3 adults and 3 kids.

Great selection of animals and good playground at the end. Food was terrible and terribly expensive ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜ž

Great for small kids.
Probably not worth it if you would travel more than an hour to get there.

More than just a zoo. Lovely helpful and friendly staff. Lots for little people to do but not so much for older kids. A lovely day was had by us all

There was so much to do. Our kids loved seeing the animals (Lemur land was a very big hit). The rides and the splash pad were brilliant too. The staff were friendly and helpful (especially the guy in the sweet shop - it was his first day and he was absolutely amazing)

We had a beautiful day with the grandchildren. Lovely picnic areas, the kids enjoyed looking at the large variety of animals and went on many of the rides. The only criticism is of the entrance charge which at over ยฃ120 for a family of 4 is unaffordable for many families

Our 16-month old was probably ever so slightly too young to properly appreciate this, but Iโ€™d still recommend it at this age. She loved the animals more than the rides: if you have a 6-10 year old,
I imagine theyโ€™d have a whale of a time. Definitely carve out at least 2.5 hrs. The zoo part and the theme park part work remarkably well together.

Fantastic family day out, perfectly laid out, saw loads of animals up close and lots of fun for everyone! One of the best zoo amusement parks we've been too ๐Ÿ˜

Sooo much to do here. The zoo is brilliant, with lots of educational interactive activities along the way. After completing the zoo route you come to the play areas which has adventure playgrounds, wet play, small theme park rides and a number of places to eat. Also a large area with picnic tables if you've brought your own food.
