We went for my son's 3rd birthday in November and unfortunately the weather wasn't the best, this did however mean that the park was mostly empty which was nice.
The animals appear to be well looked after, although some of the enclosures do seem a bit small.
Food is largely overpriced but it always is in these places.
There is a small cafe with a kid's indoor soft play which is located by the play area. It's quite large, and my son loved it.

We used Tesco clubcard vouchers to convert into tickets and therefore got in for nothing which was amazing.
Overall a lovely place.

A lovely Xmas time day out. We visited specifically for Santa and the Husky's and we were not disappointed. Santa was jolly and his belly wobbled like a bowl full of Jelly! The pressies are of good quality, so all in all worth the £11 each for the children.

The Zoo is small but full of varied birds, monkey's, lizards and farm animals. With lots of information and question boards dotted around. There is even a nice stamp book for the children to collect.

Lots of outdoor activies and rides once the Zoo has been exhausted, including indoor and outdoor plays with various food facilities. Even the gift shops prices are good value.

Many activities for all ages. Would be a perfect summer day out with the splash park. However still many things to do in winter. Well kept and clean park, animals cages and toilets. Picnic area. Great sized park.

With over 1,600 reviews, what else can I add?
Well it was a feat of navigation to find our way out of there 😃
There is a FANTASTIC cafe ‘Explorer Cafe’ near the entrance, there is nothing ‘fast food’ about it.
Food was to a very good standard, no processed chicken 🍗
Staff are wonderful.

I this place never disappoints and kids have fun here. The only thing is that it is too expensive for the limited amount of big animals they have and how small it is, being more pricey then a safari park which I feel is not justified. Food is also bland and overpriced which is expected but would not take much to fix only be less money hungry.
The free rides are a really nice touch though although being themed hello kitty makes it a bit of a weird photo to boys. Not that I mind but maybe you would want to give something to boys too.

Such a fun place for both parents and their kids. Has a zoo and lots off rides for kids. My kids didn't want to leave in the end. A bit pricey though: 2 adults plus 2 kids over £80.

Went with my family, consisting of four adults and four children from 1-7 years old. We went on Father Day and got some discounts on entry. Weather was variable but the whole visit is well suited for buggies, families indoor or outside regardless of the conditions. We went with our own picnic and didn't spend any extra for some of the other activities but didn't miss out. Lots to do for the young ones and didn't get bored. We will certainly go back and if we lived closer would consider a membership.
