Having not been since I was a kid, I was intrigued to see how Drusillas was. I spent all day with the kids (5 and 3) to get the most out of the entrance fee, which I always thought was pricey. However, pretty much everything inside is included and they were entertained for the full eight hours. We took picnic food to keep the cost down and didn't splash out on the gift shops. The animals were great, with a stamp activity book to accompany our journey through the zoo. Also, great to have the chance to be in with the bats, lemurs and lorrikeets - this was delightful. Once in the main play space, they were off and the part designed for under six years felt safe for them to roam. After that is a mini funfair, which again was brilliant for their ages - I could go on the rides with them and they loved it. Staff were fab and friendly - a really enjoyable day.

Loved this place. I went with my Nan and we had a wondeful time. Animals are clearly kept well and spacious enclosures and the staff clearly care so much about the welfare and happiness of the animals under their care. There is lots to do for kids too so may visit again in the near future with my younger relatives in tow! :)

Wonderful little zoo!
We came and bought the sloth experience for a friend which she loved, the staff couldn't have been friendlier and were so knowledgeable.
There's plenty for adults and children to do and the layout has been clearly laid out so you don't miss anything.
The cafes on site had a good range of hot and cold food and drinks.

I went here as a child. Then took my kids there now visited with my 2 granddaughters aged 3 and 4. They loved it! Definitely a good days worth and much much more. They liked the zoo, they loved the play areas, they loved hello kitty rides and the carousel and cheeta rides. Then they discovered the indoor soft play area and we nearly had to drag them out at closing. Good value if you use clubcard vouchers to buy your tickets as you get 3 x value. Would thoroughly recommend.
