Visited here on 29th August 2020 for our first family visit.
Positives:
The kids, aged 5 & 6 absolutely had an amazing day! Loved all the rides, especially the cheetahs and the hippo ride. They both were also a big fan of the adventure playground.
Lots of hand sanitizer stations dotted around set at heights for both adults and children.
Toilets were kept exceptionally clean.
Hand gel had to be put on before going on a ride.

Negatives:
having to pay extra money for the penguin plunge slide.
The park seemed over busy by the afternoon and it was very hard to social distance anywhere within the park, especially as being told that they had restricted the amount of people who were let in.

This is the perfect day out for all! Few rides for the kids to go on which are being cleaned hourly. Mandatory sanitisation is required before any rides. Great covid precautions. Food in the restaurant is pretty good but expensive as to be expected in zoos/parks. Zoo section of the park is fantastic, better than drayton manor! Lots of different animals, birds and reptiles to see thoughout the walkthough! There was even baby meerkats when we visited! Overall an amazing day out.

We paid for a close encounter experience with beavers and a capybara for our granddaughter's eighth birthday, which she loved. She spent almost an hour in the enclosure feeding them and learning facts about them from the keeper. Our granddaughter then went on all the rides in the park several times, and on the train, as well as visiting all the other animals.

We surprised our 3 grandchildren to a visit to Drusilla’s Park and we all had such a wonderful day out, there was so much to see and do. They especially loved the pre-arranged experience of feeding the Lemurs, it was the highlight of their trip. The keeper was very friendly, knowledgeable and excellent with the girls even though they asked so many questions and wanted to take a Lemur home! We then had lunch in the Explorer's Cafe which was excellent. We were very impressed with the amount of sanitiser stations and distancing reminders over the P.A. system and the route through the Zoo is well thought out and easy to follow. We all felt very safe and really enjoyed the day. Thank you Drusilla’s for making the day so special even though we picked a wet day to visit.

Visited with friends and our children on the 1st September.
An amazing day!
The rides were all set up with hand sanitizer, the staff were very helpful and great with the children & the queues moved quickly.
The restaurant staff were fantastic, it was very clean and all the tables were spaced out to make you feel safe.
Toilets all 1 family at a time and always clean
Fantastic experience considering the volume of people.
Definitely be returning.

We had a great family day out here, they are handling COVID-19 very well. The zoo tour had the kids captured throughout. There are good rides and a great park for younger kids. We will certainly visit this place again.

I bought my 9yr old a "Keeper for the Day" experience for Christmas 2019. She's animal-mad and she couldn't wait until March (beginning-just shy of Covid as it turned out!) She loved being responsible for chopping food and feeding animals; those lemurs are cheeky! I was with her throughout the day and got some amazing photos, and at one point I watched her as she was feeding the penguins and felt a burst of pride- she had grown up within minutes! Handling cold slimey fish (with gloves on) and not batting an eyelid about it, just making sure each penguin got their fair share and got their exercise too by swimming for it! She handled mice, a giant cockroach, chinchillas, fed a wide array of animals including lemurs and bats, cleaned out some animals and groomed others. Our real keeper/chaperone for the day was patient, kind, informative, encouraging and understanding. She was exceptional. I can't rate this experience highly enough although it brings out the brave in your children if they're a tiny bit fussy about slime, poo or smells!! They learn to get on with it!! Thank you so much Drusillas, a life-changing day she will remember forever!!❤

Amazing, kids really loved it and so much cheaper than chessington. A great day out! Due to the covid there are some rules to follow which was great and didn't really impact our day.

Iv been here numerous times and itd always been a good day out, but today the place was full of wasps, which i know the park cannot help, but there were no warnings before entering the park so for someone with a severe allergy this could be life threatening, two of my children were stung by the wasps, 7 and 1 yr old, in different areas and different times of our day out, we went to first aid who gave us a bag of ice then left us too it, they should however have told us to wash the areas of the sting to remove any venom, but they didnt, they also said they had wasp traps everywhere to control the problem, i saw 1 only. Anyway my toddler getting stung was the last straw i have triplets so the thought of the other 2 babies getting stung was too much and we left rather than risk it. The zoo is nice and lots of cleaners around but if anyone has a wasp allergy is be careful

Lovely place, advise you to take a packed lunch as the wait for food is pants. Not a lot of people sticking to social distancing but keeping everyone moving must be a tricky job. All animals appear to be kept well and its a nice touch when we're shown the dates of new births. Staff also knowledgeable about the animals and with a genuine interest in them too!

Came here earlier this week, we had a great day out, Drusilla’s is the first “big place” we have been to post lockdown and we felt incredibly safe. Lots of hand sanitiser stations around the park, rides cleaned regularly, and staff made you sanitise you’re hands before going on any attractions. It didn’t feel crowded at all. We thought it was fab that one of the restaurants we’re taking part in the “eat out to help out” scheme as eating places in parks like this usually work out very expensive! Highly recommend and we would definitely come again without a doubt.

A great day out for the whole family. I was slightly disappointed that we didn't have to book a time slot to enter, so there was a massive queue to get in. Top tip, head straight to the splash area to pick up a time band for the day.
The entry queue was socially distanced, but apart from that it was as if there had been no virus. There did seem to be a lot of people in the park for the space.
Really friendly and enthusiastic staff, which made the day even better.
There were lots of hand sanitizer stations around and frequent cleaning of rides, which was reassuring.

During covid19, I'd expect timed entries minimum. The place was packed, and no one was really respecting social distancing. All staff were wearing masks and hand santitizer was available everywhere though.

Water park was timed and they limited numbers. Go there soon as as to book a slot.

We are having a Staycation which has included Marwell, Bird World, Monkey World and others and Drusilla's my venue of choice. It's a quirky mixture of zoo, animal experiences and good old fun. I love the entrance where snakes and lizards and other exotic creatures get to say hi to everyone. So much to see is packed into quite a small area so you need to follow the 'Zoo Trail' or you will miss stuff.

My favourite moment was seeing the tiny baby meercats up close and at the other end of the scale were a few humans who spent too long at the best parts and created mini bottlenecks.

Lunch was good and made even better by the EOHO COVID-19 initiative that reduced our lunch bill for 4 adults from £39.40 down to £19.70 YAY

Last observation is that the ticket office was manned by one sole young lady and that isn't fair on her. You only get one chance at a good first opinion and if the queue got longer people would have got restless. Management need to fix this.

Great day out and we all had a brilliant time.
