So masks are required for inside spaces, hand sanitiser is plentiful and visitors are asked to socially distance.
On arrival we collected the wheelchair that we had booked. When doing so we were asked to complete a form with our details and leave a £20 deposit.
There was an impressive array of animals to look at, some animatronic dinosaurs and lots of fair ground rides suitable for toddlers.
We had lunch in the Explorer Cafe. You find yourself a table, go to the counter to order your food and then listen out for your order number to be called to then go and collect your food. The menu is fairly limited and the quality of the food is mediocre but the staff are very friendly and helpful. Thankfully we were able to take advantage of the Eat Out Help Out discount which took 50% of the list price.

The children loved all of the animals & were able to get great views of them all.
The play areas and splash zone are great for children of all ages.
We all enjoyed the rides and it’s great that everything is included in the ticket price.
We will definitely return!

Our first time to Drusillas, weather was awful but still had a good time. Social distancing was done well, but very few people seemed to stick to it when inside. Didn’t eat here as wasn’t open to sit inside and it was raining, but looked like a fairly good choice of food. A lot of small animals, small monkeys etc, no big animals but a big play park and water park, although social distancing was non existent here, but must be very hard for the staff to manage. Overall great little day out despite the weather!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the park. The measures in place for social distancing were excellent coupled with the facilities, rides, zoo and so much more. Honestly I would highly recommend, our toddler had so much fun. Big thank you to the staff who were so helpful and friendly in making us feel at ease.

Our children (aged 9 & 12) were entertained at the playground and zoo area most of the day so we didn't get on to the rides until 5pm.<br>Our son is probably at the (age) limit for the rides and playground.<br>The restaurant and cafe (and doughnut shop) are taking part in Eat Out to Help Out and they operate an Order and Collect service to minimise contact and encourage Social Distancing.<br>One way systems are in place (where possible) and masks are to be worn in enclosed areas that remain open (some parts of the park remain closed).

We had a fab day out at Drusillas yesterday. Everything felt very safe, with lots of hand sanitizer and washing stations everywhere, along with reminders over the sound system to social distance. Our two children - 12 and 9 - had a great time seeing all of the animals, playing in the playground and going on the rides. All in all, a great day out, especially with the Eat Out To Help Out incentive 😀😀

Had a lovely day with my 3 Grandchildren aged 8, 5 and 4. The zoo route was great, the animals had space to roam and are mainly small species but the children loved it and were able to view the animals close up. The play area has lots of things of interest for active children, some of the climbing areas are inside walls and tubes which made it difficult to keep an eye on 3 children all at once on my own. I don't see why they need to charge extra for the bouncy high slide, £5 for 8 tickets and no refund when I only used 5 tickets because the queue was very long.<br>We went on the small train ride and into Kittyland. The dinosaurs were fun.<br>The toilets were clean, the whole park has hand sanitisers everywhere and face masks only needed by adults in inside areas.<br>It was a good day out and well worth visiting, buying tickets online in advance was cheaper but no discount for children, in fact my ticket for over 60 was less than the childrens tickets.

An organized and well run small theme park with a retinue of small to medium sized animals, wild (mostly various species of birds, primates and rodents incl. Beavers, Otters and Porcupines) and farm variety (mostly ruminants i.e. Goats, Sheep, small ponies etc.) asides two camels. A good combination of small scale rides, a water (splash) and an extensive jungle gym play-area alongside the zoo trail make this an ideal, low risk fun day out for kids ages 10yrs and under. Most rides state 12yrs max. but this is really mor geared towards younger children. Theres a small animatronics dinosaurs section as well but more of a filler section than a main display.

It's an OK day out but 2 adults and 1 child cost us £63 odd pound so it's not cheap and everything is abit tatty and battered.<br>We went during the lower parts of covid and I have to say I don't think they took much care with it, it was very busy and people were all over everything and crowded together, the only thing they seemed to do was a sign here and there and on the rides intermittently spraying some areas.<br>I probably wouldn't visit again for a long while.

We took our 9 year old daughter and her friend here for the day to celebrate her birthday, we had a great day. There are many animals to look at, and learn about, as well as many rides to suit all ages. This is the first time we have been anywhere with lots of people for months due to Covid-19, and I was very impressed with the measures Drusilla’s have in place, obviously there are visitors that don’t quite get the socially distancing thing, but on the whole Drusilla’s are doing really well.
We booked the Meerkats encounter for the two girls and it was well worth the cost, to begin with we jumped the massive queue to get in the park, as you can enter through the members gate if you have an encounter booked.
A keeper came to meet us and took us through the animal kitchen for a brief tour and chat about what the different animals eat, then for a walk to the large Meerkat enclosure to see the little baby ones, and throw some crickets to them.
Then to the smaller enclosure, the girls sat on some rocks and the Meerkats came straight over, they were very friendly and were very happy to climb on their laps and eat crickets.
A great day had by all.

We went to Drusillas mid August to go around the zoo, on the rides and I paid for a meet the meerkats experience. Despite the rain my two 8 year olds and myself had such a great time! We haven’t visited for a while and I was pleased to see how the park has continued to modernise and keep the attractions relevant. The one way layout of the park lends itself to social distancing and there were plenty of signs, radio announcements and hand sanitisers around. Meeting the meerkats was a highlight despite the weather, with the lady who showed us around clearly loving her job 👍 Made me realise how much food the park needs to buy in to feed the animals, so I would encourage people to support otherwise parks like this one won’t survive. Throughly recommended! 😁

My 9 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed being a ‘Keeper for the day’. It was a fantastic hands on experience, full of amazing opportunities with a friendly and knowledgeable member of staff. Highly recommended for children and adults!

My daughter recently did the Keeper for the Day experience. It was amazing, she absolutely loved it, and had such a fantastic experience that she will never forget. The keeper was so knowledgeable and friendly, and went out of her way to make my daughter feel comfortable. She saw and fed so many animals, the meerkats and beavers were her absolute favourties. I would definately recommend this to any animal lover - not just children!

Been here many times. Social distancing was enforced though some of the attractions were closed. The price remained them same, which I never understand. Charge the same for less to do. How ever they dis seem to run at a restricted number of people in the park. This made it easy to get on and see everything that was available. We still had a wonderful day and the kids loved it.

Great family friendly Park with lots to do and see. Start off with a walk through the zoo part of the park where you will see many amazing animals. After that you will walk in to a huge area for the kids to let off some steam. A big section to the right for kids to play in and to your left a really good water play section.<br><br>Walk through to the picnic area which has lots of tables to sit and enjoy food from the park cafés or shops, or even if you bring a picnic.<br><br>There is a huge blow up slide for the kids or bigger kids to climb up and slide down with a train that takes a few minutes to go around part of the park.<br><br>Continue walking on and you come to the amusement section of the park that has a few rides the children will love. Free of charge and you can go as many times as you wish to que up for.<br><br>After that is a gift shop and then followed by the exit.<br><br>We went as a family of 4 and found the value to be really good for what you get and can see, compared to other zoos and parks.<br><br>Staff were friendly and the park is well looked after. All around a good family day out and we would return.
