We visited Drusillas on Saturday and had a fantastic time with friends. My 2.5yr old doesn’t like noise and can be very nervous when visiting somewhere new. I can honestly say that we had a ball. I really liked that the place had lots of engaging activities along the way and it was nice to see he felt confident to explore these without me trying to encourage him. The park was clean, with good facilities. I’ve suggested that my in-laws should take him next, as it had good wheelchair access for my father-in-law. There was a nice mix of things to do and see (we actually ran out of time to do everything!) and I'm so pleased he wanted to go on most of the rides, it was a big step for him. We will definitely be back soon!

We had a fantastic day out with our friends and family here the weekend before last. My boys of 4 and 15 months old and they both loved the playgrounds, rides and seeing all the animals they have something for all ages and my youngest drove the hello kitty cat which as you would imagine was the loveliest thing to see!
Will be visiting again soon 😀

This was a fantastic zoo and attraction park to spend a day with the family. We went on Monday October 1st, which is the off season. This meant the park was quieter than summertime and that some concession stands etc. weren't open. This was a good thing as we had all the time to see everything, and all the playground to ourselves.
The main outlets were open and not too expensive.
The animals were nice and accessible to small ones with a good variety of creatures. Lots of great monkeys, anteaters, and many wonders from around the world. Get one of the free stamp books to tick things off on the way round.
Lorikeet feeding was great fun with the friendly, boisterous, and charming rainbow feathered birds landing on our hands and heads to eat nectar from a little pot (£1).
The Hello Kitty land was a big hit with our three year old. Not everything is open off season but the rides run on time, and do not cost anything. You can go in them as many times as you want, each of the three rides runs consecutively for 15 mins each (off season). The little kitty cars and kitty teacups are fun.
The Eden's Eye maze was nicely done and we went through a number of times.

It is easy to spend all day here. Thoroughly recommended.

Book ahead online and save some money too!

My daughter decided she wanted to be a zoo keeper for the day at Drusillas and for her 6th birthday we decided to let her do it. We did have poor weather but it is testament to how well organised the day was and how friendly the staff were that this did not bother her (or me) at all.

My daughter did not quite know what to expect but the keeper who was looking after us was very welcoming and did everything she could to get her involved. From showing her what goes on behind the scenes, doing food preparation, cleaning out pens, lots of feeding and general closeness and holding of the animals it was a really enjoyable day for her.

One thing I would say is that whilst there is no getting around the fact that its a lot more expensive than a regular visit, I thought by the end of the day that it offered a unique experience and good value for money. My daughter was really excited to get a special sweatshirt and a name badge and lunch too. We did it instead of a party which would likely cost just as much and you are getting a professional keepers time for the day to answer all your questions. I think its something that she won't forget. When else do you get to feed penguins and hand feed a Capybara!

We bought the zoo keeper day for our daughters 8th birthday and it was the most amazing day. The zoo keeper was brilliant and she got to see a huge range of animals as well as the opportunity to feed some and see behind the scenes. Definitely a worthwhile experience.

Took my disabled mum here for a day out, she's in a wheelchair.
Found the park easy to manoeuvre the wheelchair around, unlike a lot of parks it's fairly flat so was easy to push the chair around.
The park itself is very clean, well managed and all the staff we came in contact with were very friendly and knowledgeable.
They have a good variety of animals that all had plenty of space and looked well cared for.
Thumbs up, great day out

A super place with a small zoo, children’s rides and an adventure playground. Very entertaining for youngsters up to the age of about 12. The cafe was a fast food service - everything disposable. Personally, I would have liked to be able to stop for a coffee halfway round but you are in a one way “maze/route” and have to wait until you have finished the zoo.

My family and I visited during a rainy weekend and were really glad to see how few visitors there were (we were first in line and first in the park).
Having so few people there made me realise just how small the place is, but did mean we could go on the rides as much as we liked.
We completed the Zoolympics Challenge and went on everything loads of times until it closed.
Food was reasonably priced and we all enjoyed ourselves despite the weather.
Highly recommend for families with small children!

We have been annual pass holders for 6 years and therefore have had 100s of amazing days out at the park. Today was no different but unfortunately after a great day we got back to the car and had a flat battery. I went to the customer service office in the faint hope of them having jump leads to save me calling the aa and the greeted by a lovely lady who radioed someone straight away. I waited at my car and a lovely man <tall, late 20s dark hair) came and got the car started straight away - he had a joke with us about it and was helpful and friendly. Just want to say a huge thank you to him and to drusillas for providing this service and level of guest care. Also special shout to the man mid 50s who is the host at the restaurant- every visit we see him and he is constantly hard working, efficiently and always friendly. Drusillas do have so many amazing staff but these two really go above and beyond!!!!

Drusillas is great fun for all the family. The zoo is lovely with a variety of animals to see. There is a lovely big inside play area if the weather is bad. The outside park is amazing with areas to cater for all ages. They have an amazing splash park in the summer so be sure to pack swim clothes if it’s a nice day. Kids love the train that goes round the park. There are several other rides for the kids to go on too. On special dates they have character meet and greet whether it be PJ masks, Spider-Man, Hello Kitty or Peppa Pig to name a few. Check the website for dates and times. Drusillas is definitely a more expensive day out but they do offer annual passes and if you sign up to their mailing list you do receive special offers. Well worth a visit.

Drusilla’s is one of many first class children’s entertainment parks in this area. Tickets were through Tesco vouchers and so painless but paying on the door would cost about £70 for 2 adults and 2 children. Having said that Drusilla’s is excellent, and, though compact, there is much to see and do. We had both rain and shine but could find something suitable for both conditions. Of note is the condition and diversity of animals in the zoo enclosures, all are well kept and animals looked happy. The children’s outdoor playground is comprehensive but keep a good eye on your kids, they can easily disappear, as our granddaughter did. Though confident she would be ok, we had a nasty 5 minutes ‘till she re-appeared, a glut of TV dramas always makes you fear the worst doesn’t it? This is in no way a criticism of Drusilla’s and there are plenty of vigilant staff about at all times. We arrived early and left half an hour from closing time so it was a good full happy day. Food is adequate but not gourmet, but no problem, you might consider taking a picnic I guess

We had a most enjoyable few hours and were delighted with the selection of animals and birds we were able to see, almost all of which obliged us by being visible. There was plenty of interesting information, which despite being aimed at the younger generation, was also useful for us. We did visit outside the school holidays (although it was a Sunday, and a beautiful day) so it was fairly quiet. However, we found the map (which is presented in a very colourful, almost cartoon fashion) difficult to decipher. A conventional map would have made it much easier. Altogether well worth a visit, whatever your age.

My second visit to drusillas and it was fantastic. My 2 year old loved it. It’s great that she can go on all the rides and the zoo is fun. Will definitely return.

We recently brought a group of children from our nursery to drusillas for the day. We had a wonderful time and the children loved the splash pad. It was extremely busy but we managed to make the most of our day :)

It was about 2 years since visiting Drusillas but we wanted to take our family who were visiting from the States. We had all ages - 'Senior' Grandparent, Parents, 2 Teenagers and a 10 month baby!
All of us enjoyed the animals and thought the information provided was very well presented and informative about the fact that so many of the animals are threatened by removal of their habitat. Great that our teenagers were able to learn more about these endangered species.
After walking round the zoo we enjoyed some tasty cheeseburgers and a trip on the Safari Express train, finishing with the best freshly made doughnuts!
Even though the park was very busy there seemed very few delays and the queue to get in kept moving. A good day out that we all enjoyed!

This is ideal for families not for seniors. We could not use the facilities as this park is geared up for families and children.Other than walking round looking at animals everything was for the children. Even trying to have a coffee was too noisy. We were on a weeks holiday and picked up brochure and thought it may be a nice day out. In there for 1.1/2 hours.
At a cost of £18.95 per senior there were 2 of us who visited I think much too expensive.

This is a great zoo for children. There is a single way around the park with animals and activities at every turn meaning kids don’t get bored walking around.

The zoo itself is full of smaller animals - of special mention is the lemur walk where you get to go in with the animals. Kids loved being so close!

Once you’ve seen the animals there’s an extensive play area both outdoors and an indoor soft play. A train ride is available (sadly no longer Thomas).

New to the park since our last visit (a number of years ago) is the Hello Kitty area. Despite being a girly theme, our boys (9 & 3) really enjoyed the cars and teacups rides.

Great day out, highly recommended. Not a cheap attraction in the area, but worth it.

What a great family day out, very clean with loads to see and do. Lovely rides for the children which are included in the price. (hardly any quing), Park is clean and very well maintained with friendly staff. It makes a nice change to exit a park without being herded through the gift shop. Well done for that. A must see attraction.

Great little place, the layout of zoo was brilliant, no animal was missed as the path leads you straight through. 2 booklet activities kept children entertained throughout. Rubber stamp book for animal finding and tasks linked to animals ie how far can you jump or how fast can you run compared to animals. The park area were great, compact and included splash zone ( take spare clothes or costumes) then a few mechanical rides. We visited on Spider-Man day so a photo with him made one girls day. Great park if you have young children. Used Tesco Clubcard as part payment.
