Unfortunately, there are no longer visits from bands such as the Paratroopers, Life Guards, Signals, etc these were stopped because of the IRA..... and Council cutbacks. The best you can expect is the local Silver Band......sad; yet you can hire the venue for marriages.

Came to a tribute show for the first time at the weekend. Tickets extremely reasonable and easy to book online. Lots of restaurants nearby for a meal before and free parking along the seafront from 6pm. Even in the drizzle with raincoats and umbrellas ready the atmosphere was great. There was also a bar that was open all during the evening. Looking forward to spending more evenings there.

We were just off for an evening stroll when we noticed something going over towards the bandstand so we went to see and found out there was a brass band playing that nigh with a firework ending so we bought some tickets and took our seat the wife and had fantastic evening of entertainment and the conductor of the was very funny and kept show going all night the fireworks to the music of 1812 overture was brilliant

The architecture is beautiful Art Deco. There is a bar available. Plenty of seating which was surprisingly comfortable as it is wooden framed canvas folding chairs. Watched the 1812 firework concert which was excellent but it was extremely cold.

Eastbourne Bandstand is the busiest Bandstand in the country with many concerts from April to October, there is usually something happening each Wednesday,Friday and Saturday evenings, most Sunday Afternoons and some Sunday evenings. The price is extremely reasonable, there is a bar serving alcohol and soft drinks, teas and coffees. Highly recommend.

Went to several Tribute Shows throughout the season here - tickets are a great price but drinks are expensive. Great evenings entertainment for all ages.

The sun came out on chilly Easter Sunday. Eastbourne Silver Band played a good selection of hand clapping toe tapping music. Great atmosphere enjoyed by all ages.
Well worth a visit

Over the years this has not changed, it was in the late forties when my mother used to take me there. It has been well kept up over the years, but the pity of it is the homeless are being allowed to sleep there and this is where things go down hill. Lets hope it changes for the summer and all the old bedding is removed.

One of the best experiences for live music in Britain. Fantastic shows in the most ideal setting, with good space for dancing and good seating layout etc. Brilliant Performances. Brilliant Structure. Great View. Perfect for events or night outs

It is nice to see a bandstand that is used most seem to be empty and neglected. It seems that this bandstand is well used during the holiday season with a full programme of events that are publicised. Unfortunately there is very little happening in February. I shall have to return later in the year.

So glad to see this being used as an outdoor music venue.

Really well maintained and lots of shows prepped to perform here. Definitely will come and watch one or 2 shows here. Loved strolling through on a sunny February day.

For a wonderfully sunny mid February day this place was majestic against the beautiful blue sky and calm seas, we will certainly be back in the season to see the place come alive

We always like to include the bandstand in our walks along the seafront when visiting Eastbourne. It's a beautiful iconic landmark. When visiting this week loud pop/rock music was being played from speakers, which totally ruined the beauty of the place. I really could not see the need for it, nor think that anyone appreciated it!!

Attractive 1930's style setting with extensive seating around bandstand. Numerous and varied events from 1812 overture with fireworks to modern tribute band. Very reasonably priced for location right on seafront. Half shut your eyes and you can imagine Poirot and Hastings enjoying a Creme de Cassis while watching a classical concert!

Finding this was a real highlight of my short trip to E’bourne. Right on the sea front between the Wish Tower and Pier this is a real beauty. Art Deco in design and provides the perfect place to enjoy music.

Simply lovely and I recommend a sea front walk to check this out.

Visited on Friday 20th October. This Bandstand is situated on the seafront at Eastbourne and if your into Art Deco Buildings then this is a must see. When we were there if felt a bit neglected and could do with a paint to restore it to it's former glory.
