Fantastic tribute bands! Talented musicians playing a variety of instruments, brilliant, the whole place rocks!! All age groups from babies to senior citizens. Accessible and very welcoming to disabled. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a bar and you can bring in food, fish and chips are popular! Concerts start at 8pm but you need to queue from 7pm to get a good seat. Can get chilly so bring blanket or coats.

Bandstand is a lovely building which has been sympathetically restored. It is also near the center of Eastbourne's fabulous seafront, with wonderful cliff walks, glorious gardens, Eastbourne Pier and a well kept beach. The bandstand is well worth a visit and also good are tribute bands shows from April to October and free music shows around Christmas. There are also other performances throughout the year.

We took time out when walking along the Eastbourne seafront (after completing the South Downs Way) to admire this famous landmark. It has been beautifully restored, a tribute to all those involved in the work.

Recieved a voucher as a gift for Eastbourne Bandstand which we used to see The Jersey Boys tribute band, brilliant as usual. Easy to book, value for money and friendly staff. We have been several times and never been disappointed. Although it rained most of the night, and was freezing cold, we took a blanket, hats, scarves and gloves, and had a great time, everyone was singing along and dancing all night, even in the rain. The staff gave out plastic sacks to either sit on, wear or just keep the rain off. There is a bar and hot drinks if you want, and plenty of seating, get there early to choose your seat. Great evening out. Vouchers are valid for at least a year, so plenty to choose from. Don't forget to go to the Christmas Day and Boxing Day mornings, usually good weather too!! sing and dance to all the favourites to a live band, and all for FREE, and don't forget your Christmas hats etc. been going for years, wouldn't miss it. Great for all the family.

We went to the 1812 Firework Night on Wednesday 27th September and it was brilliant. On our visits to Eastbourne we always manage to see two or three shows at the Bandstand. This was no exception. The music by Eastbourne Silver Band was excellent with the 1812 Overture at the finale complete with fireworks. On Friday 29th we went to an Elvis Tribute Night and again this was a good evening and was packed out by the time we arrived. It covered most of the music by the King and there was audience participation with some of the songs and people were dancing as well. It was a very good evening and well worth a visit to the Bandstand. Throughout the summer they have Tribute Nights and the 1812 concerts. One point to note is that in the evening it does get very cold so wrap up warm if you are attending one of the concerts.

The bandstand is pure art deco. In years past there was a military band that played classic brass band music. Nowadays it's home to tribute bands during the summer season. Massive efforts are made to stop non-paying people from getting a view of the stage. Most tribute nights there are crowds of people plus some music loving dogs listening to 'Tom Jones' 'Abba' and authentic sounding copycats. During the day you can sit around the bandstand, although we have been 'moved on' in the past. The bandstand itself is a great seafront landmark and in the past few years it has been renovated to prolong it's life.

Watched a tribute band to the Jam and they was top draw, 8.50 per ticket for a fun filled night, love the bandstand and it's a shame they don't do it at all seaside towns, great to see a Victorian past time still going strong.
