A totally unique venue - brilliant acoustics. the Brass Band from Horsham were superb, and the backdrop of fireworks on the beach amazing. Wonderful!

Nothing out of the ordinary, but a very good brass band concert. A continuous entertainment for one and a half hours at modest cost by a very competent band that played a variety of pieces to suit all tastes.

Our friends got married on the Bandstand which was unusual but very nice, and surprisingly warm as fully enclosed.

Whatever your music tastes the band stand can cater for you. Run by Eastbourne Borough Council information about forthcoming concerts and tribute bands are available from the Tourist Information Bureau or posters along the seafront. Monimal charge to get in and quite often a bar too. Christmas Day and Boxing Day free to the public and gets very busy as everyone joins in the dancing.

Great value, £4 to hear an hour and a half of big band music and only £7.25 to hear and see someone that truly was Tom Jones long lost twin brother.

There seems to be music on most evenings during the summer with Tribute Bands every Saturday, there is a charge to access the seating area, but you can get a good view and hear the music from up on the promenade.

We did not purchase tickets because the weekend we were there was not what we would like to see.
However I could certainly recommend the set out and atmosphere as you can hear and see certain areas as you walk past.

from what me and my family could see was good enertainment But i would not pay the amount they were asking for a chair space it was about £10 or £12 and most of the time they could not fill the seats most people who travel their are OAPs but affording this price on their pension most cannot.. it is disabled friendly ..

There is a varied range of shows from brass bands to tribute acts. We watched the Brass band play a varied selection of tunes before finishing with the 1812 Overture accompanied by fireworks.

We booked promenade seating for the air show, it was fairly expensive but worth it to be sure of a seat all day and hear the commentary. Close to toilets and refreshments.

This is a very unusual bandstand as there is so much seating over three tiers, all outdoors on the seafront. A wide range of entertainment is offered throughout the summer season so there is something for everyone. The venue is very accessible to all due to where it is situated on the promenade.

bands playing there throughout the week and low ticket prices mean you can hear a great variety of music and performers in the open air and enjoy the sunny weather without spending a fortune
