A well presented and interesting Museum at the back of a well stocked, bright and clean gift shop. Purchases contribute to the RNLI - an extremely worthwhile cause.

Although this is advertised as a museum the actual museum part is tiny, however what it contains is a lot of information about the local Lifeboat through the years, as a lifetime supporter of the RNLI I found the shop also well stocked, worth a visit if only to support the local lifeboat who do a fantastic job

A well run shop by helpers and fund raisers who do an excellent job in raising money for the Lifeboats, these are all volunteers who give their time to help

Just a little museum & shop dedicated to the volunteers of RNLI - nothing fancy but buying here anything well support a good cause and you can also learn about the history and memorable moments of the Eastbourne RNLI branch.

Staff busy chatting to each other ignoring customers. Stock hadn't been replenished/ordered so I couldn't purchase my intended gifts for grandchildren or donate monies to this worthwhile charity.

Although very small, it's informative and worth a visit bearing in mind it's run by volunteers and very worthwhile.

A nice small museum that won't make for an afternoon program but will give you some interesting information and the opportunity to get nice, not expensive, little souvenirs. My coin holder always turns heads, and my seagull magnet adds a "sunshine coast" touch to my room's decoration.

Tucked away rather this facility gives the opportunity of picking up information about the RNLI and houses a comprehensive shop with a wide range of memorabilia goods

Every Lifeboat Museum is a little gem. They show the history of their boats in that area, talk of the lives that have been saved and most have a little gift shop where all the taking go towards this wonderful cause, saving lives for those at sea.

Small museum, with a few exhibits and some interesting stories to tell.
Worthwhile, we stayed 30 minutes.

My wife and I stumbled on the museum whilst walking along the promenade and passed a very pleasant half an hour inside browsing, looking at the fascinating display about the history of the lifeboats in Eastbourne and chatting to the nice ladies behind the till who added a lot to the story. (Mad Jack Fuller was clearly a great eccentric character!). Well worth a visit and donation.

Shop & museum combined. Very informative, giving local history of the Lifeboats & the men who sailed in them.

I'm a big fan of the RNLI, but there is really very little to see here. Effectively it's just a shop and not a huge one at that. However, good luck to them.

The museum is very small but has a wealth of information.
The shop holds lots of bits and bobs and as it raises money for the RNLI is a must to visit.

Snails operating the till? but an ok experience, as a shop; space limitations, means that exibitions&technical displays are small.

It was good to visit. The shop has good gifts for all and the staff are very helpful and information is readily given on all aspects of the work and volunteers for the RNLI

As others have said this is more of a shop than a museum. It's a small exhibition ,but it's a worthy cause, and the staff are all cheerful and friendly.
