The seaside, the seagulls, the fresh air, the Pier Palace, the central town all were picturesque and worth the visit. We had a marvelous and fun time and kids loved it.

Eastbourne pier is another south coast favourite. Well worth a visit just fir its history. Not quite as classy as Brighton pier but still a classic.

A good amble along an old pier spoilt by current owner taking out the central wall running along the length of a good portion. It gave some protection from wind and there were seats that were very handy to take a break if not good on the pins.

Eastbourne is a lovely town to visit, whether it be summer or winter. the seaside front is a pleasure to walk along. lots of seating, beautiful flower beds, the pier, bars and cafes, and plenty of space. It has a bit of an old fashioned feel, which is like a breath of fresh air these days.

Since this Pier has been Taken over, It is so much more Fun. My Son Loves the Arcades, and always now have so much Fun on there.
Looks 1000's times better than it did with it all being repainted.
Well done.

This pier is amazing. No loud music just very clean and beautiful. A wonderful visit even on a cold November day. The victorian Tearooms are a must. Real tea and wonderful cakes.

The pier is good all round place to visit and take the walk out above the sea, there are lots to do and a fairground at the end of the pier. Two bars a theatre and various eateries that are what you want at the seaside. Plenty of seating and free deck chairs to sit and take in the sea air. Take as long as you need take in the views and the best thing is it's free, yes free

The floor was dirty, and the great arm chairs had stuffing coming out the arms. The drinks were very expensive, probably would not go again.

This historic pier is free to go on and has the usual gift shops and snack stalls.
Halfway down are the victorian tea rooms which are very popular and always seem busy and a bar/nightclub at the top with an arcade next door. The arcade is a fair size and has enough to keep you entertained for a while.
