Excellent pier especially the really good views over the coast. Ideal for a very enjoyable walk on a sunny day.

Staff really helpful and friendly, the cream tea was excellent and the views cannot be beaten, definitely a place to try if you visit Eastbourne.

The pier is free to enter and basically quite full of gaming arcades, tourist shops and a bar at the end. On a nice warm summer day though, it's pleasant to walk out to see over the heavy iron framework and take a seat and enjoy the sun with a cold drink. Good views, clean and a good use of half an hour.

Walking to the end of the pier and looking back at all the hotels along the front, a good photo shot. The small stores on the pier are good with a selection of wares in them, in the centre is the one which probably someone would spend most time in, the restaurant!!, when the wind is blowing what a lovely place to relax with a hot chocolate and some cakes!!

Visited the pier a couple of times on a short visit to Eastbourne. Pleasant walk to the end although disappointedly the end part was closed.

C’est très beau à voir la jetée, l’afternoon tea sympa avec vue sur la mer, le bémol : les jeux arcades, car premièrement : c’est chère et deuxièmement : beaucoup de gens dépensent de l’argent pour ces conneries

Victorian style tearoom serves tasty cream tea with delicious scones and real Cornish cream .
Good sandwich selection, friendly service, scenic views across the bay.
Not a lot of entertainment on the pier, but great to just go people watching. Pleasant enough in the sunshine even on a windy day in springtime.

The pier has had a lot of improvements with its new owner. The whole place looks a lot better and has had a load of repairs. It's a pleasure to walk along and we do regularly. There's lots of seating to enjoy the view and the cafe(?) at the end looks a lot better than the soul-less place it used to.

Lots of arcade machines, as it used to have before the fire, but mostly the 2p ones which are fun for everyone!

It's such a shame that the council and Mr Gulzar can't agree on what other attractions etc can go on there as it could be really fabulous and he's really putting a lot of work into it. (Strange they didn't seem very interested with the previous owners who let in run down)

The pier is under repair at the end and is looking a bit shabby despite the overhaul of the roadside of the pier.
