Lovely, shame it was boxing day as. Nothing was open and the walkway was a bit slippery as it had been raining.

Boxing Day and a walk on the pier. The owners have greatly improved this pier and offers a very pleasant experience. The old pier has been given a new lease of life. Children love the penny arcades and the staff are very kind to the youngsters. The tea room is worth a visit and the staff are always helpful.

Brilliant that the Pier is still here in Eastbourne. Make sure you visit the Shop at the far end, many treasures, seek & you will find that Special item. Lovely friendly Lady who will gladly chat with you. Find out about her many talents. And don't forget to take photo's & selfies, it makes for amazing pics. Enjoy...

very nice but very wet. Unfortunately the sun wasn't shining in the Spielo and the fried fish at the entrance was pitiful. The beach consists only of stones but still looks beautiful

An absolutely lovely pier. Not as big as say Brighton or Southend but has its own charm. Lovely tea room

I'm sure it will be lovely when it's finished but at the moment there seems to be a lot of closed off areas being worked on. It's good for a walk with some nice views of the seafront.

Well looked after pier with cafes and shops for you to try. At dusk, look out for the murmurations of starlings that roost on its roof

Nice to be able to get back on the pier after the fire almost destroyed it. Would benefit from having some decent attractions on it though. Currently just the outdated tea rooms and a small arcade.

As the pier is under retail renovation at the moment, there's 3 empty units but I'm sure once they're finished and filled, the pier will warrant 5*. Meanwhile, there's life at the end of the pier by way of a bar and entertainment and an opportunity to try wonderful cream teas. There's a couple of 'seaside' shops with nik-naks and souvenirs and I can't wait to revisit the pier once it's completed.
