Good location, pebble beach 🏖️ but still loved it as it was quiet and clean. Had good facilities for washroom.

Eastbourne Pier is very popular for its beautiful seafront and it's oriental look- golden painted roofs . There are lovely shops with gifts and ornaments. There is a Tea room 😍 which is quite beautiful in inside with chandeliers😉. There is even a small area for fishing at far end- free of charge. There is toilets n benches. There is fish and chips shop at the entrance. We had a lovely day 😘😘😘. Will sure to back next summer 😍😍😍😍

Eastbourne is a resort town on England’s southeast coast. On the seafront are Victorian hotels, the 19th-century Eastbourne Pier and a 1930s bandstand. Towner Art Gallery includes modern British works. Nearby, Redoubt Fortress, built during the Napoleonic Wars, has a military museum. Southwest along the coast, in South Downs National Park, are the tall chalk cliffs of Beachy Head and its striped 1902 lighthouse.

Lovely old fashion pier, there are a few shops down the middle that are empty and being done up, so next summer it looks like it maybe wonderful. Lovely tea shop half way down.

Situated on Eastbourne pier. Beautifully crafted crystal glass flowers . Delicate but they pack them in a box for safe keeping. Other souvenirs for sale..

As a fan of victoriana any chance I can get to visit a pier I will grab with both hands. I had never been to Eastbourne before so was pleasantly surprised to find that this pier was so well preserved and still had the character of when it was originally opened albeit that behind the original facade there are some modern touches. As you walk along the pier you can almost feel that you have gone back in time and can imagine you are back in time walking with ladies and their parasols and gents with their striped blazers.
A great place to step back in history

First visit to the pier and it was sad to see that it needs a lot of work done on it to bring it back to it’s original beauty. Hopefully there’s a plan to give it that well needed makeover, and I can see on my next visit some progress.

Oh dear I keep being a bit negative, but I do believe and fill once again An icon of this town was in a poor state. But the bar maid in the pub was great and very helpful getting me a seat and a pint. Thank you.

A beautiful unspoilt pier with the usual attractions. Lovely and peaceful any time of the year
I recommend going for a walk down the promenade by night (you can’t go on the pier) as the lights are nice and the stillness of the water is tranquil

Some beautiful features to this pier, the lamps in particular, top glass sections appear ro have been removed (ugly arc lights attached at present) hoping the original style will be replaced when done. Main buildings being worked on but the end of the pier still seems intact and you can sit here and enjoy the view and have a drink at the bar.

Really nice traditional pier with usual shop and food offerings. Only let down for us due to not allowing dogs (even on lead).

We were in Eastbourne for the weekend and decided to walk along the pier. The weather was good and it was not too busy. On the end of the pier is a pub with live music which looked very popular.

It was good on the pier with something for everyone, only 1 problem, there are no toilets only in the amusments arcade and the bar, and as my husband was in a wheel chair, no disabled facilities were available
