There are piers in every coastal city, but I think this one is prettier. There aren't many people, so it's a great place to quietly look around with your family and admire the sea!

A fond memory of childhood still going by the beauty of this coast line. A must go see especially if you have been in the recent lockdown. Such a great day out and very relaxing. loved it

Enjoyable walk along the pier, the Sussex Cream Tea at the Victorian Tearooms was an absolute delight and well worth the cost.

It is ok but avoid the chip shop. It is not only over priced, the chips (small portions) were too salty. They take your money and then make you outside for more than 30 minutes!

Great place to chill near the ocean. They have an alright sized arcade near the far end of the pier though a lot of the machines sadly weren't working.
I then went to the chippy at the entrance and that's where my trip here went badly. Their fryer broke so they were only able to serve chips (I did get a refund for my jumbo sausage). I paid £4 for large chips and I honestly feel like it's smaller than the medium size you can get from cheaper places.
I don't recommend popping into the chippy on your way out!
