Not a lot going on on the pier atm which is a shame as its a great venue.
It has been nicely refurbished though and I look forward to seeing different options open up very soon.

In need of some loving TLC really. Bins were over flowing and paint peeling off the benches when we visited a couple if days ago. Several places to eat and a bar. A large section in the middle appeared to being renovated. Fish and chop shop had a vegan menu! Interesting to see. We did not have any chips so cannot comment.

No charge to go on the pier which was good, and no entrance or exit via a shop or arcade.

A lovely spot with some traditional pier entertainment and stalls but the gold is tacky and does not suit the era or the setting, but that is probably my view. Work is underway at the moment which makes part of it inaccessible. Despite my concerns with the gold it is great to see it back in operation after the fire that destroyed it.

Lots to do and see, arcade rooms, a wonderful sweet shop, various touristy shops, the Victorian tea rooms are a must if you are visiting and the pier donuts are second to none!

In its current state, there is little going for the the pier, although signs of improvement works being carried out will surely bring the pier to life. The positives: the shops in the middle, especially the sweet shop. The negatives: the on-going works means part of the pier is shut on one side, making social distancing (even though the rules have been relaxed now) difficult for those who feel uncomfortable still (which is understandable given current infection rates at the time of writing) at busier times. Went in the mini arcade, left quite quickly due to increased risk of covid due to significant numbers of non-mask wearers.

Sat on pier as beach too crowded. Good view. They are still putting things in place so didn't explore. Although friends went into arcade the other day and had a lovely time. Upset that dogs aren't allowed as most times when i'm out i have the dog with me so I can't go on there.

The pier looks nice, it’s not too long but it is so run down with not much there one bar/restaurant at the end, then a few shops at the front,
The arcade was small but was a laugh,
If they had more market stalls or things to do or by it would be a lot better

A beautiful seaside city, with a huge beach and a magnificent seafront. Easily reached by train from London. On low tide is possible to enjoy a fine sandy stretch alongside all the seafront.
