Lovely to see a remaining pier. It is quite grand. Unfortunately the tea room and some of the attractions on the pier were not open when I visited. Lovely walk along the pier.

The pier was shut I presume because of Covid, it would however been useful if the numerous websites promoting Eastbourne mentioned that it was shut.
Standing on the beach beside the pier it does look impressive, we hope it opens soon.

I the Eastbourne pier looked really good but due to covid was closed, I do hope it opens soon again so families friends and others can visit once more as it is a lovely part of Eastbourne

Eastbourne pier looks lovely but is currently closed presumably due to COVID 19? We didn't realise this until we walked right up to it and the gates were locked.

Currently closed due to covid, but visited earlier in year and several times last year. Excellent place to spend a few hours, entertainment and eateries or just sit and enjoy sea views. There is a great glass making shop with animal and flower designs and you can watch the glass blowing and they make to order. Be glad when it reopens.

Visited Eastbourne for a birthday treat and wasn't disappointed
Weather was kind
Visited the pier on both days
Social distancing was out in place at the little cafe stops
A lot of variety although I'm sure it was scaled down due to Covid - 19
Defo worth a visit
Very Clean

We were rather disappointed not to be able to walk on the pier. The gates were shut and there was no explanation as to why this was the case.

Unfortunately we weren’t able to enter the pier because of lockdown measures. However, we were able to look at it from afar and take pictures at the beach. We’d love to visit again once it reopens. There is also a nearby toilet and the parking is free for NHS staff. There are seafood stores and restaurants close by as well. And if you’re craving for some ice cream there are some stores there too!

Very disappointed that the pier has not yet been open, since Coronavisre lockdown. This is the people's pier, and we should beable to at least walk on it during this wonderful weather. People travel from miles, just to walk on the pier, and yet, it's not open. Very very sad about that. Please open this pier. Every other pier is open. So why not Eastbourne? It's not as if it's not safe. It's perfect.

Large open space with a few small shops and very friendly/helpful staff. Beach is rocky so can be hard to walk and can be very windy but overall a very pleasant experience just watch out for the seagulls (they’re very hungry) so might swoop down and take your food!

Went for a stroll along the pier on a cold day. Nothing special but would be better on a summer day with all the facilities open. Some good photo opportunities looking back to the town
