So helpful and friendly. A true asset to Eastbourne.
Delicious coffee available too as a bonus!
We'd recommend anyone visiting Eastbourne to seek their
advice to best use their time there and in the surrounding area.
Thank you.

Spent a wonderful seven days in Eastbourne with my 96 year old mother (first visit for both of us). Had several wonderful meals, can particularly recommend The Hydro, enjoyed a trip to Birling Gap and lovely strolls along the prom. The one major criticism is the selfish behaviour of a few yobs who not only thought it acceptable to whizz along the prom on electric scooters, but when challenged (my mother is extremely deaf and was very scared when these appeared alongside her without any warning) subjected us to the most disgusting vile language and then followed circling round us. Surely these scooters should not be allowed on the prom.

Picked up Airbourne brochure and sat reading it over a coffee there. Nice and airy on terrace.

Tourist information here. Shame signage to the center is rubbish. Once you find it the staff are very helpful.

Not being techno savy with phones we followed the town signs to the Tourist Information Office - WRONG! its moved and called Vistitors Service Centre. Eastbourne REALLY needs to cover over the old notices. I use a stick & it was a struggle.

Excellent Eastbourne Visitor Centre. Kind, helpful staff. Lots of interesting small gifts for sale. Always a nice smile and you are so well looked after during your visit. Magazines, books available and other interesting items about what's on at the theatres, galleries and the local area in general! Lovely coffee and cake at the DQ Cafe in the same building! ๐Ÿ‘โ˜•๐ŸŽ‚๐Ÿ™‚ Perfect!

Professional staff but very cold towards certain types of customers/clients especially if you don't fit what the (old) ladies running the place consider to be norm. Perhaps, their staff attitude towards some members of the public perfectly represent the negative image some people have of Eastbourne.

Followed the signs to the centre to find it had moved to a new location. Found the new centre it seems they were more concern with selling tickets did not know what staff were what Tourist or Theatre staff.

The Tourist Information center used to be located in a small, quite grotty premise that was half public toilets. The new center is large, light and airy and modern with a cafe attached and views over the tennis courts. There is a posh gift shop though not many leaflets out on display but when I visited there were 3 members of staff ready to help. The only issue is the new location is a good 10 -15 minute walk from the pier / centre of town.

Very conveniently sited. Lots of information to gather and very friendly Staff on hand to help with queries such as bus times, also what is on at the theatre, and where certain streets are. An absolutely blessing.

A large modern space with information desks immediately in sight as well as an inquiry if I was looking for anything in particular. No doubt Eastbourne, like all other towns whose economy owes so much to tourism, is keen to sell its visitors as many hotel rooms or theatre tickets it can muster. Sadly for them I was already about to make my way to the station to leave having thoroughly enjoyed the John Nash exhibition in the Towner Gallery next door. Not even time to visit the rear cafe which had an outside patio with some spectacular views over the tennis courts and the town suburbs behind.
