There are so many leaflets and books here, and the staff are never too busy to help. We wanted information about the buses on time, and another about the putting times. They were so helpful with information about Bexhill and Seaford.

I normally just review restaurants, but this is such a marvellous, useful place I just had to mention it. Full of brochures, leaflets and souvenirs from Eastbourne and much further afield. The staff are welcoming and come up with good suggestions on events, accommodation etc. Regrettably some TICs, as they are sometimes known, are closing down or have closed e.g Newbury. Tourism is a massive force of financial benefit for any town, as well as a health, social and cultural improver. Keep up the good work Eastbourne.

We went in here to find out what was on offer in Eastbourne, look for maps and bus times. Everything we wanted and much more was there, but the staff did not seem to engage with customers. Never mind.

Our visits were all beneficial. First time was for a street map, the second time was to follow-up a flyer in the window for an event at St Saviour's Church of the Vasari Singers, a leading chamber choir, the third time was to enquire where we caught the bus towards the Seven Sisters. Each time we were greeted with knowledgeable assistants (one lady on 2 occasions, and 1 young man on the 3rd occasions). Thank you.

The people in the large Tourist Information Office in Cornfield Road, a few minutes’ walk from the train station and terminus bus stops, were very helpful and made several suggestions about things we might like to try.

The town and the coast as far as Hastings and Brighton are served by good bus services but, although there are timetables available for the individual routes, there doesn’t appear to be a single overall route map and that is a disadvantage for families without cars. However, the staff gave us the timetable/route maps for the routes we would most likely need for the activities that we had expressed an interest in.

Very helpful staff, knowledgeable and patient. Nothing was too much trouble. It was clear that they were proud of their town and its attractions. Good advice regarding places to eat for both lunch and dinner. They suggested the open-top tour bus and this was excellent as it was hop on/hop off. Very helpful indeed.

We needed help and advice about booking a ferry to the IOW and all the staff at the Eastbourne Information Centre were absolutely marvellous. Thank you all so much as it made our holiday less stressful.

We paid a short visit to this Centre, which is situated in quite a large unit in the centre of Eastbourne; not very far from the Railway Station and near many bus stops. It was well laid out with a wide range of information available for visitors. We visited on a Bank Holiday and it was open with staff dispensing assistance and information.

There's not to much you can say really, it's accessible and informative. I will say though the high street in Eastbourne is shocking. The shops are lovely and varied, the people were friendly but the pavement was disgusting. There were holes, dips and bumps, cracked and broken bricks. I walk with a stick and found it extremely difficult, I stumbled a few times. It really does look like it hasn't been maintained for years which is a shame. The town is lovely and the buildings are stunning so it really does just let them down a bit.

The lady who was helping us was very understanding and gave us helpful hints to get around Eastbourne easily.
We were able to purchase a key which unlocked the diasabled toilets across the country not just in Eastbourne, without her suggestion to purchase one we were not aware of how to obtain it. This was very useful especially as my Dad was in a wheelchair.

staff here are very accomodating and will go out of their way to help, as they should, You can book local trips and hotel here also. There could be a few more signs in the town centre so it's easier to find but cannot really complain.

Located near bus stops and railway station I'm sure they have more demanding questions in the summer but for us their answers were easy because attractions like the Eastbourne Miniature railway were closed as we were there out of season. I was disappointed to find out they had no information on the Hastiings Cliff Railways which run all year. Had they given us any information they would have been able to tell us that the East Cliff Railway was closed for maintenance. We had to drive to Hastings to find that out for ourselves.
