Such a fantastic venue for Eastbourne. Almost hidden under the Eastbourne library, this place formerly known as the Underground Theatre is a massive benefit to the community. Places like this have got to be supported. The team that work here are incredible and work so hard for absolutely nothing!
There is a wide variety of shows put on here from monologues to full productions.
This is such a great venue for music too. They cover all genres from Blues to Jazz for individual musicians to complete Bands.
They are lucky to have the additional facility of a bar located in the back room, they have teamed up with a local company to provide on tap beer and a good selection of Wine and spirits too, as well as drinks for the youngsters.

I went to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show at The Grove last night and had a fabulous time. The floor show put on by Cherry Dance was good fun before the film. The seating had been changed around to adhere to social distancing guidelines and a table service was provided so I could enjoy some wine with my friends in comfort and safety. I was impressed with the clear Covid safe measures that have been implemented which enabled the theatre to provide us with some much needed entertainment in these challenging times for the industry. Well done The Grove!
