Entrusting a complex building programme which requires the coordination of a significant number of specialist trades is a daunting task. From the moment we engaged Hawes it was clear that their approach was very organised and professional.
Works have been completed to a high standard and followed the programme agreed at the outset. Bruce gave a significant amount of personal time and effort to oversee the unique and complex nature of the project. The relationship with Hawes has been very positive throughout and they have responded to changes in our requirements with speed and expertise.
Hawes have been the coordinator for both their own work programme as well as the schedule of specialist subcontractors in order to complete the refurbishment of the large basement project in the time required and to an exceptional standard.
I would not hesitate to recommend Bruce & Sarra to friends and colleagues.

Hawes builders were professional and carried out the work to a high standard. Sarra Hawes was excellent at coordinating all the different aspects of a refurbishment to a 1 bedroom converted flat, including choosing and fitting new kitchen.
The final price was higher than the initial quote provided, but I did have extra work done.

Hawes Building Ltd., was recommended to me by a structural engineer to repair/strengthen my 8 ft.high brick retaining wall in my back garden. Their timekeeping was excellent at all times, including the providing of a quote and carrying out the work. We were advised of the scope of the work and Bruce personally checked its progress. The men were friendly and efficient. At the completion of the work Bruce reduced the price as the work proved to be less than anticipated! I highly recommend this company without reservation.
