Taken over by new owners in autumn 2024, this has been transformed into a warm friendly cafe with a modern lively feel. The two owners (I think?) who are front of house are genuine and welcoming and the cafe now has an urban/independent type buzz. The coffee is good and sandwiches are fantastic. I was starting to despair at the decline of independent coffee shops in Eastbourne (maybe there are only 2 others worth going to?) so the rejuvenation of Hyde Corner is very welcome. Now my favourite and is dog friendly. Love it.

After trying 2 other cafes, one closed, one full we tried here. We were very pleased not to have been able to go to the others. Lovely service, our full English and fish finger sandwich were fantastic. Great coffee too. Didn't try the enormous cheese scones but will be back soon to put that right. Thank you Hyde Corner. Happy New Year.

Really lovely cafe with amazing selection of cakes and pastries- had morning coffee and brunch. Staff were very helpful and atmosphere was lovely. Parking outside is free on Sunday but arrive early.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5

Lovely to visit Hyde today! They confirmed they separate the meat from the eggs and use different frying pans.
