We booked a party for a five-year-old but took older children aged 10+ as well. We had such a fun filled day out.

We could not get an early lunch as it had already been booked but the restaurant staff moved the time for our food so we did eat at 2.30 which was perfect and really helpful. Lunch was plentiful and a great variety as were the goody bags - so nice to not have to worry about the goody bags.

LOVED the new playground what an amazing addition. This place is great for all ages and I can finally take all of the kids out and the older ones have just as much fun as the little ones.

Massive thank you knockhatch for looking after nature, beautiful to see a park teaching kids about looking after wildlife and not so manicured gardens saying how they are helpful and large bug hotels and what wildlife you can see using them. That and the owl sanctuary really made my day.

Will definitely be coming again soon.

We visited with a party of 6 (4 adults 2 kids aged 7&5 years) and had a fabulous time!

There was lots to see and do and plenty of spaces to sit and watch while the kids had fun - we had our great Nan with us and she’s late 70’s so it was important that we found plenty of places to rest too!

The outdoor wooden castle structure is incredible- so beautifully done! Plus the added bonus of all the animals and the opportunity to touch them rather than just look through cages was fab!

Highly recommend! Will visit again one day when we are near this area!

Good place to come especially with younger children. Lots of choice of activities. However I found that a lot of the stuff our two year old isn't allowed to do as he's too young. I find it a bit strange you have to pay full price for children over 2 when they can't do everything. Also we went mid week on an orange day and only one place was open for lunch which was a bit annoying. Otherwise we enjoyed it and it's a good place to wear the children our for a day or half a day.

Took my 9 yr old granddaughter and her friend for this 2 hour experience. The price included 2 adults and access to park after experience had finished. Tim was the girls keeper who they were to accompany, he was very extremely good at his job and knowledgeable . The girls sorted different animal feeds into buckets and then proceeded to feed an assortment of animals goats , deer , llamas , horses donkey to name just a few . The girls thouroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We then went onto enjoy the other numerous attractions on offer . I would definitely recommend Knockhatch and I’m sure we will visit again

We enjoy going here. Plenty to do inside and out with good investment in new attractions. Only criticism is that they have some very weird staff who can be inattentive and distracted

We took my 7 year old grandson to Knockhatch for the day as had heard there were lots of things to keep him occupied. It was a sunny but windy day in April so a little early in the year yet already pretty busy, the entry queue was long so worth getting there early. A map is provided at the entrance.

Pro: Lots to do for the children ranging from indoor soft play areas, covered play areas, and circus tent theatre show to outdoor bungee trampoline, crazy golf, water slide, boating lake and go karts. Things to see include birds, small animals, farm animals, wallaby's, owl display and indoor reptile interaction. Some things are included in the entrance fee, others cost extra.

Cons: Outdoor paths surrounding the animal pens and to the circus tent were just stones which are not suitable for anyone unsteady on their feet or for wheelchair users. There is quite a distance to walk between some things and yet no benches along the paths and the ones inside the soft play area were so low it was difficult and uncomfortable to sit on them. No mobility scooters or wheelchairs available to hire. The reptile / small animal interactive show was disappointing, just a small indoor shed although the keepers were friendly and the animals looked well fed and content.

Despite the difficulties for those with mobility problems, this is a nice day out for the children.

It's a nice place to spend the day with lots of things to see and do. Some are included in the price some are extras. You get a map on entrance. Go see the animals like lama, deer, pigs, meerkat and birds such as owls. Play on slides and trampoline

We were in Sussex for a week, and were unlucky to have several wet days (we went to the beach on the 2 sunny days we had). I read reviews that Knockhatch was still worth visiting in the wet weather so we planned to come on a rainy day. We were not disappointed. Several big indoor play areas and smaller animal barns - the soft play areas in Froggies were excellent, especially the 3 to 6 year old area. The animal encounters were also indoors. But the stars of the show for our 9 month old were the owls. He was enthralled by the indoor owl show, which was excellent, the highlight of our day. Later the rain held off for a bit so we got to see some of the other animals outside and had a ride on the quadrapilla, which the adults enjoyed even more than the kids. In summary, definitely would be even better on a dry day, but we had a great time in the wet too.

We took our 3-year-old and hoped the facilities would be similar to Drucillas. They were not. Many of the attractions were not finished and looked shabby. The animal caged were small and there were very few birds and animals on show. The was an owl in a small cage, who looked very unhappy

This was the first time we have visited this year and certainly did not disappoint. There are new attractions and upgrade of other attractions. The new fort play area and zip wire where exceptional. The new go carts were really good. The staff they employ are only young but they enjoy there work and as kind and helpful. We Can not wait for the summer holidays so we can go again

I hosted my daughter's 13th birthday party here and we had such a good time, I can't recommend it enough. It does get popular so I would advise booking the day before to avoid being turned away on busy days. I have been coming here for years and there has been new attractions added year after year. Recently a new Lost World play barn and huge outside Castle with a high walk way have been constructed. It's cheaper than the local Drusilla's park and, in many ways, more fun and there's more space to relax.

We took our 4 year old to Knockhatch with family for her birthday celebration. I hadn't been there in years.
What a park. The entrance fee is reasonable. You have to pay for just 3 extra attractions once inside which are the high wire trampolines, the large go karts and I think the avalanche slide. The rowing boats are amazing and a lovely way to spend half an hour going through and around the islands on the lakes. So much to do both inside with the play areas and out with splash area, dragons castle and the farm to visit. Honestly an amazing day you wont regret. They also accept Tesco vouchers which is a nice touch. I have read not much to do for under 2's which I would say is true due to the height restrictions, but I think knockhatch know that which is why under 2's are free to enter. Only 1 negative and that's the food and drink prices. I havnt taken away a star or anything because you come to expect the prices, my view and I think it's fair is that it costs so much to run a park like this and staff it they have to make some additional funds. Fair play. Take some spending money and have loads of fun

Knockhatch's James really looked after us as we got in the Meerkat enclosure on a sunny Saturday. It was just the two of us and the meerkats didn't disappoint.

He kept us informed with all the stories about these meerkats and really made sure we had a lovely day. The meerkats were awesome!

The meerkats loved their carrot and James was my hero and fed them their chicken legs...

Thoroughly recommend the Meerkat experience.

If you have kids Knockhatch will be perfect for them.

First visit to Knockhatch near Hailsham for myself and my 7yr old daughter. We had a fantastic fun filled day, so many activities to do and animals to see. We got there quite early so did a lot of the rides and activities before it got too busy. We took a picnic with us and sat out on the grass enjoying the sunshine, there is food available at various points around the park including the burger bar, hungry toad cafe and cannon area cafe and plenty of ice cream and drinks stands. All the staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. Our favourite part of the park was the dragon castle and the animals. Keep your speed down when you drive in and out of the park as the road is narrow in places with some blind corners.

My grandson is 15 month old so I had been recommended by another granny to try knockhatch. It was reasonable to get in , I might buy a year pass next time I go. Visited the dinosaur area. We went round the animals and birds, had fun with the wallabies, very tame. Saw a sheep giving birth. We went in the play area were we had lunch, quite reasonable food. Then my grandson played in the soft play area and in the adventure soft play area up and down slides that’s both of us!
We then found the paddling pool unfortunately I hadn’t got his swim wear so something for next time. We then played in the sand pit, climbed and played in the park area. You know what there are still lots for us to do on another visit.
Definitely recommend, I do have to say it’s a little rustic but that’s part of its charm. If you have older children up to 10 ish there’s still plenty to do.

We chose this at random to take our grandchildren to. For the ticket price most of the attractions are included and there are a lot of them, both indoors and outdoors. There are also various shows on during the day. Take your own picnic as there are plenty of places to sit and eat. We thought it was a good day out and really good value for money.

The new Red Dragon castle is fantastic and quite beautiful. My grandsons 9 and 12 had a lot of fun and exercise for ages, and then there's the Dino barn with drop slides, Chicken shoot out barn, the bouncy pillows twice, wave rider 3times. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced, including the ice cream. Staff are lovely, very friendly. Two grubby, worn out boys delivered back to mum. Booked online and saved money too! Thanks Knockhatch. We had a great day.

We have just spent an amazing day at Knock hatch adventure park! I took my 2 children aged 8 and 5 and my friend took her 13 year old and 8 year old and there was sooo much for all of them to do!! It is brilliant value to get in at £12.99 per person or 3 of you for £31. 00... In that ticket price you can meet animals, go on lots of rides, a roller coaster simulator, swings, froggies play centre, quaderpillar ride and rowing boats on the lake... There's also lots of other things to do too including a massive play area with a dragon, dinosaur drop slide area, lots of animatronics and a water slide! I have to say all of the staff were so friendly! Any time I bought anything or went on a ride they all said enjoy your day in a really friendly polite manner! They were very chatty and helpful! You can see that all of the money goes back in to making the place better, adding new things and improving them! It's got huge since the last time I went! Food and drink is also very reasonably priced which Is lovely as you don't feel ripped off at the end of the day!! All in all a fantastic day out for all ages that thoroughly entertained all the kids as well as us mums that like to play too haha

We went yesterday after pre booking our tickets. Two seniors a fifteen, thirteen and four year old and what a fantastic time was had by all of us. Amazing value for what is on offer and the staff who are mostly young were so polite, knowledgeable and just lovely. I would thoroughly recommend this adventure park and will definately be going back with my grandchildren. After reading some reviews I thought it would be a money pit but quite the opposite everything was very reasonable priced, spotlessly clean and excellent condition.

We were given a Buy a Gift voucher for a Meet the Meerkats experience. The keeper who showed us round was called Richard and was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were given some vegetables to give the meerkats in their enclosure. They will eat them out of your hand. And then Richard gave them a dead chick each 😱 The meerkats were incredibly friendly and playful. It's definitely worth following the advice regarding long tops and trousers as they can scratch when they're trying to climb you. You get about 25-30 minutes in with the meerkats although other visitors do walk past and can see in and do ask questions. You can take photos and Richard offered to take some for us. The meerkats didn't seem interested in phones but do like to search your pockets! It was a great experience and we'd love to do it again!

Our first visit to Knockhatch but not our last. We were with visiting grandchildren and their parents. The whole experience was very good. Pleasant, helpful staff, clean facilities and lots to do with plenty of places to sit, on picnic benches or grass and cafes and kiosks dotted around. Much larger than one might think from the entrance on the A22 up a long drive, away from the traffic.
