Visited here last Sunday and all of us had a great time. There is so much to see and do here. There is something for all ages. We spent the whole day here and just about managed to squeeze most of it in. The new Dragons Castle is amazing! Well done to the team who made it. It is a great value day out and like I say something for all ages too. Wave runner is a must and the huge slides

This is a relatively small, intimate adventure park, which is actually in part what makes it such a lovely and relaxed day out. I went there with my elderly mum to do the meerkat experience, which was fantastic and far exceeded my expectations. Mark hosted the experience and was very affable and shared lots of interesting info with us. My brother now wants to do this experience having seen some of my video footage! The thing that really made the day special was the staff, they bent over backwards to help us, particularly bearing in mind my mum was unwell that day and needed a wheelchair, which they provided us with and saved the day. Thoroughly recommend, just bear in mind that this isn't a huge place with big fancy rides like Chessington or Alton Towers.

Visited Knockhatch to feed the meerkats using a gift voucher from our son. We were met by one of the pet keepers, Mark. What a knowledgeable young man! We were shown to the meerkat house , where he introduced us to the four residents - two Alphas (Parents)and two subordinates (Children). He put us at ease, telling us about these lively little creatures . We had the whole experience to ourselves and soon were feeding them their starter course of vegetables , followed by their main - chicks. Mark explained that this is a a cheap nutritious way of feeding the meerkats as these male chicks are not in demand for other purposes.

After checking first that we were happy, the meerkats were soon clambering all over us - even on our heads at one point - quite lively charming creatures. Mark answered all our questions about how they survive in the wild, where they are from, their habits of digging, acting as sentry , etc. we could tell what an ardent animal enthusiast he was.We were so impressed - thank you Mark.

We were pleased to see how clean their surroundings were and that much effort had been made to allow them engage in natural behaviours as far as possible - provision of sand mounds for them to burrow and high branches to allow them to keep watch.
Before leaving Mark, he presented us both with certificates for completing our meerkat experience and a couple of meerkat keyrings.

Our voucher also allowed us free access to the rest of the park and we were surprised at the variety of animals there - miniature ponies, emus, giant rabbit, goats, many species of owl, and many more. It is possible for everyone to feed the very tame wallabies which were very cute with their babies in their pouches. There is also a cafe and there are number of 'rides' . It is all on a modest , relaxed and pleasant scale and we would thoroughly recommend it for a very enjoyable family day out.

Booked the animal experience for my two girls and was shown around by a chap capped Ben who was brilliant. Really informative and brilliant with kids. We got to see a whole range of animals and it was very interactive, which they loved. Fed lambs, held snakes, hosed down emus, learnt about ferrets....

Afterwards, we spent the afternoon in the play park and didn’t have time to do everything. Great play area, ridiculously steep slides which I was forced to go on.

Worth the entry fee even if not doing the animal experience.

All in all, one of the best value days out I can remember for a while, and will definitely be returning.

Great place, good value, so much to do and not overpriced when you get in.

Favourite place is the lake, such a beautiful space.

Love the animals, there is something for everyone!

Myself and my daughter visited after school this week for a wander round before tea. It was not very busy at all so it was lovely. Every single member of staff we walked past took the time to say hello to us which I found really nice as they are so busy with the various they have to do, regardless of how busy the park is. One staff member even took the time to have a brief chat with me while my daughter was playing. I have always found the staff here to be exceptional polite and friendly but I noticed it more this week.
Very happy visitor, thank you knockhatch for always making us feel so welcome :)

Huge amounts to do for all ages we took our toddler son and 6 year old niece, both loved their trip!
Plenty to do so much so we’re planning another visit to recap the bits we missed! The castle play area is by far the biggest I’ve seen and very impressive we had some burgers which were reasonably priced for this type of venue and tasty too

Visited knockhatch for the first time and had an amazing time. We booked to be zoo keeper for the day, then did the meerkat experience afterwards. Upon arriving we went straight in with no issues (on a Saturday), the staff were very helpful, the place was clean and well organised. We were then introduced to our guide, Ben. The zoo keeper experience lasted 2-3 hours during which we went fed the animals, sat with them in their pens/cages/hutches, went behind the scenes, helped the staff at the animal show and learned a lot about all the animals. Ben was very knowledgeable, polite and friendly, and the kids were amazed from start to finish. Ben was so good one of our children thanked him for inspiring him to want to work with animals. We had a couple of hours spare during which the kids experienced knockhatches various play areas and we went to the owl show. Prices in the cafes are reasonable and there is loads to do for the kids. The meerkat experience came next and this was equally good. Ben gave us as much time as we needed with the animals, chatting about them all the time and sharing his knowledge, experience and passion. This was all topped off with a gift bag and certificates for the children. An excellent day was had by all, very good value for money, made even better by the personalised experience given by Ben and all the staff at the venue. Thoroughly recommended.

Had a wonderful day at knockhatch in the half term, there was so much to do and see. Once into the park the queues where at reasonable times. My kids loved the Dragons Castle and the Lost World play barn. My son Alfie was even brave enough to go down the big red slide. All the staff where great ambassadors to the park and seemed to be enjoying themselves just at much as the children. At the end of the day we purchased goods from the gift shop, the majority of the items and reasonable prices. One of the girls in particular in the shop was excellent when helping my daughter chose which teddy she wanted. We will defiantly be back

Visited here for the first time on Wednesday and had a lovely day out. Quite a variety of things to do so would probably suit most families with young children. A few animals to visit and look at- quite a variety of owls which was interesting. My children really enjoyed the play areas and the big pillows. It was a lovely sunny day so enjoyed a picnic on the lawn. Quite a lot of space for children to run around and enjoy themselves. I must say the only downside for us which could have been managed better was the entry. With it being the holidays, there was a huge number of people queuing to get in. We had prepaid tickets online and the large sign over the entrance clearly showed two entry points. However all you could see was a massive crowd of people appearing to be all in one long queue. Told by two different people that everybody had to go into the queue and then the queues split when you get to the penned area. This was incorrect so we spent a good 15 minutes in the long queue before someone else told us different. It would have been useless to have a member of staff at that time in the day managing entry. When we got to the door finally, we was waiting for quite a while exactly where we should be but then a lady popped her head around to inform us we needed to go to a different door- the door that clearly was for those queuing to buy tickets. Bit of a let down at the start of the day but didn’t stop us having a great time. Will possibly return as not bad value for money.

So much to do in a day (10:30 -16:00). Crazy golf, boating lake, circus, go karts, slide park and so much more.

ideally for kids from 3-13 in my opinion.

super lovely and friendly staff which are a credit to the park.

Our teenagers keep asking to return here. For under £15 a head there is water slide, rowing boats, jumping pillows, best adventure playcastle we've ever seen, grass sledges, animal shows, train ride simulator, crazy golf, soft play cannons and by paying a little extra go karts, climbing wall etc. They keep upgrading it. Great value day out for kids of a range of ages as good indoor and outdoor play and splash zone for little ones. Love that most of the activities are included so they can have multiple goes. Lots of space to picnic or several food outlets there.

Visited primarily as my daughter received a Meerkat experience for a present. What a present! Owen took us into the Meerkats and impressed us with his knowledge and professionalism. The Meerkats were lovely. My daughter was able to feed them and they sat on her. It was a wonderful experience.

This is a great visit to visit, especially if you have children of different ages to please. There is a water slide, bouncy pillows, a runaway train similator, huge slides and an indoor play area with ball cannons.

More importantly there are owl shows. We saw Owen and James run the indoor owl show and they are a credit to the team. The show was great and we really enjoyed it.

The food is reasonably priced. We had burgers from the kiosk and they were tasty. Every member of staff we saw was friendly and helpful.

The brilliant wooden castle is 'very cool' apparently and comes complete with a resident dragon.

All in all I thoroughly recommend this park. It is well worth a visit and I wish we lived close enough to visit again.

As the reviews below state, if you book online this is a great value family day out.

A real highlight was the Alice in Wonderland show that’s included in the ticket price. It was a well-put-together production with quality performers.

The only downside is soft play - two words that I can’t wait to see the back of as my kids get older.

I’d bring a packed lunch as well.

But overall, lots for the family to do and great staff.

My wife, yougest son and my grandson, my son's nephew, visited Knockhatch Adventure Park and had a lovely time.
As we had prebooked our tickets online, we were able to get through on a seperate smaller queue than those who had turned up to pay on the day. There is also a small discount for those who book online.

There was plenyy to see and do including a small petting barn, where you could feed some sheep an alpaca and a couple of llamas, both of whom were very well behaved.

Beside the petting barn is another barn where the staff run a number of activities throughout the day sich as animal encounters and indoor owl displays, which are worth seeing.

As you walk around the park youu will find lost of different animals, some of which you can feed, a cup of animal/bird feed is 50p as I write this, such as goats, rabbits, deer and some very friendly wallabies.

There are a number of differently themed playbarns which are free to get into but of course there are a small number of rides and attractions that cost a small fee to go on.

We had a burger and chips for lunch and these were very good and reasonably priced although the coke zero that I had did seem a little bit watery.

The park does seem to be bringing new things for children to do when they're there. The latest appears to be The Dragon's Castle adventure playground. It's a massive play bulding that looks like it's been taken staight out of a storybook and will look even better when it's timber construction has time become weathered in, rather than it's brand new pristine timber look.

All in all a great day out was had by all members of our group.

We visited Knockhatch and enjoyed a nice day out. We were 2 adults and 5 children, all aged between 1-12years. There was something suitable for all the children and despite the car park being very full the grounds/facilities coped very well. It didn’t feel chaotic or congested, which was great!
If I was to give any feedback to the park it would be that they should offer child size meals or meal deals at their fast food outlets, as paying separately for the burgers and chips became quite expensive £3.20 (Burger) + £3 (Chips) and the portions were way too big for kids. In addition I think it was a great pity that there were so many other hidden extras that you have to pay for once you are in the park e.g Go karting, row boats etc. I feel like these could be covered in the entry price and if people wanted to have subsequent goes then these could be booked additionally. Also by about 2pm the toilets were smelly and looking very unclean.
However, overall I would consider Knockhatch as value for money day out, especially if you book online (saving 20%) and take a picnic. I would definitely come back on a warm, sunny day.

What a fabulous day....we arrived early & were first in the queue but as we booked online saving a considerable sum, we were straight into the park...there was so much to do & see....first up was the petting zoo....the kids were loving the giant rabbits...wallabies & their babies....& much more...the food was only 50p for a good size cup....ample for this first part....all the way round there are hand washing stations...so many of amazing areas to explore , even tho there were parts not open & some under construction we still spent over 6 hours here....we took a picnic but as the weather wasn’t great, quite chilly, although the kids didn’t seem to notice, & were about to eat in the Chicken shed...a fun barn with soft balls & cannons to fire at each other...we adults enjoyed this as much as they did...& a lovely clean area to eat our food but coffee & icecream available....The lost world was favourite for the children....dinosaurs...rope bridges & ladders in a jungle to be climbed to reach the four giant slides....2 of which were sheer drops....scary
Jumping pillows, adventure playground, pirate cove, nature trail, quad bike ride, all included in the entry price....trampolines, go karts & diggers at a small extra cost.
Plenty of toilet facilities...a good reasonably priced self service cafe with good coffee in a fantastic soft play area.
I’m sure I have missed so much, & this was without the new areas to be open for Easter...The dragon Castle will be amazing.
& my favourite activity....The owl show....up close with a kookaburra & owls.....this lasted 30 mins but was very informative & interesting
All the staff were friendly & attentive....we were four generations....great grandma,grandma,2 Mums & 4 grandkids.....we all had a super time & will definitely revisit

We had a family day out at Knockhatch today. It was bar far the best family day out for a long time. Knocked the socks off other centres locally. We loved the Animal Encounters with Snakes and Spiders, the staff are fantastic, helpful, friendly and always on hand to help.

There were a few negatives, but the positives outweighed the whole day. I personally do not like gift shops at the entrance to a venue. It puts the parent in a negative mindset by entering the venue, it should be at the end. Garden centres do this a lot and I avoid them like the plague.

Once through this area, though you're welcomed by the Animal Encounter section with Wallabies bouncing around in a fenced enclosure. Ducks in a pond, Rabbits as big as small dogs and an array of chickens and farm animals. They even had a Chicken called Donald as he looked like Trump!

The activity site is massive and caters for a huge array of activities. We didn't do all them today, but I am going back to do more another weekend with my kids. They absolutely loved it and gave it a perfect 10/10.

Knockhatch is a family fun centre with pure joy and delight to be had.

I loved seeing the Meerkats, Racoons and Skunks, they were amazing and looked very well looked after. One even stopped for a photo pose. :-)

Well worth a visit as a family day out and not expensive at all.

We went with our grandchildren aged 7 and 11. We were rather cross to find that lots of the things the girls wanted to do cost extra. For example, the bouncy trampoline was extra, and the climbing wall would have been extra (we did not do that as it also meant getting a member of staff to supervise), and if you want to play mini-golf, you have to go back to the entrance to put down a deposit on the balls and clubs. They also have Rules everywhere! We've never seen so many Rules. They are probably covering their own back for insurance purposes by posting so many, but other places do not seem to have to be so officious. Eventually, we just stopped reading them, which means that they are pretty useless. Better to have just a few important ones? They have two bouncing pillows, one for very little people, and one for older ones. The Rules (!) state that very small people may not bounce on the older children's pillow, but obviously nobody else was reading The Rules either, as everybody of whatever age were bouncing around on the big pillow. We had lunch in their main restaurant, which was adequate and what you would expect, but sadly there is a soft play area at the back of the building, which means that your meal has a background of screaming children. The girls had an OK day, but were not particularly excited by it, and actually prefer another, similar entertainment park farm further up the A22 - which does not charge for lots of extras!
