From meeting the first member of staff on the entrance we were confident of a great day. The young lady was friendly, helpful, enthusiastic about her job and thoughtful about what might be suitable for our 18month old twin granddaughters. We took her advice about where to start and where to eat and all in all we enjoyed every moment of our day. The girls simply enjoyed running around in the sunshine with us chasing them! And yet there were so many things to interest them, at their level and easy for them to interact with. From hens, owls, rabbits, ducks, goats, ponies, cows, wallabies, meerkats and I have forgotten some we saw...
There were large pictures of animals all around for the girls to see alongside the real animals and it was fascinating to watch them respond excitedly to both the live animals and the images.
Our toddlers also much loved the wooden tractor and combine harvester playground with slides and tunnels. We seemed to be there for hours!!!
What also impressed us was that the staff were like the lady on the entrance, answering our questions and being always very helpful. Everything was well maintained and easy to access, even with a double buggy and other clobber.
We will definitely be going back. As the girls get older they will be able to do more by themselves and access the more challenging parts of the soft play area and other attractions around the farm.

Visited at the request of our two grandchildren aged 6 and 8; we had a good day out. Plenty of animals to see and pet; animal food is available from the shop. There is a reasonable variety of attractions for the children to play on to the extent that the 5 hours we were there passed pretty quickly. A couple of the attractions are at extra cost (go-carts and bungee jumping) and have minimum age/height restrictions - tickets available from the shop at the entrance. The onsite food outlets are a little basic and in our experience the quality was not particularly good - if we visit again we will take a picnic.

Visited with my granddaughters on a cold overcast day but this didn't spoil our day. A great venue with lovely animals to pet. Good activities for all ages and a good selection of places to eat and drink.
One downside was the owl show. It started 10 minutes late for no discernable reasons and then it finished after 15 minutes. We only saw 2 birds.
Apart from that, we all had a great day.

A lovely day out. Both kids wanted to stay inside at shoot foam balls at each other & others for about 2 hours. We bought a picnic so unsure of pricing. Both kids loved the paddling pool. The eldest loved the go karts (extra payment) & the youngest loved the bungee trampoline. The playpark is well equipped & they both had fun. There was a talk on owls which was good & lots of free stuff to explore. Happy kids =Happy Mum

The family went there to celebrate our two-year-old granddaughter's birthday. As well as cows, horses and sheep, she loved seeing animals such as snakes and owls, which she'd only seen in books. There are also colonies of wallabies and meerkats, which were also a great hit. All the animals look to be well cared for by the staff. The park takes safety and hygiene very seriously and there are handwashing facilities next to all the enclosures. There are also fun rides suitable for toddlers. I was very impressed with the helpfulness of the staff, who appear to genuinely care for humans ans animals alike.

Took my 3 year old son here yesterday. £12 for both of us to get in as term time. Prices go up for half term dates but still reasonable prices. We had a lovely day. Feed the farm animals for 50p a cup. There are 3 big indoor play areas if weather isn’t great. One soft play, one dinosaur themed with big slides and one is a chicken run where they can shoot soft balls. Great fun!! They have several animal displays throughout the day depending on time of year. Outside they have several rides and play parks and a pool area for summer months. Brilliant day out for all the family.

Fortunate to live 5 mins away. My family all have annual passes and we go to Knockhatch all the time. It’s a great day out for all ages and has plenty of things to do. The owners are continually improving the park with seriously cool things like the Dinosaur Playbarn and the new Dragons Castle that’s in the process of being built. Staff are always friendly and food is very reasonably priced and very nice. You can’t beat Knockhatch in comparison to other local attractions such as Drusillas and Blackberry Farm.

Went with all the grandchildren during half-term. Had a great time, have lived in area for a long time but this was our first time! Fantastic place for kids to let off steam in the safe secure environment.

The Owl Experience was fabulous and it was great to see such elusive creatures up close. Excellent indoor play areas with soft play for the younger ones.

The lane down is very narrow and entry could be made better. Unfortunately, not all activities were open but then it was only February!! Plenty of picnic areas but could do with more covered/less exposed seating areas. Overall a fab day out.

On the 23rd February I was lucky enough to feed the meerkats at knockhatch which was a Christmas present from my husband,we were met by a very nice man called James who made our experience fantastic,he was a true professional and his knowledge was second to none ,
We could feel how passionate he was about his job and how much he cared for all the animal and a special interest in owls .
Thanks James for making a day memorable and we wish you every success in your future.

I have nothing negative to say about knockhatch at all. We’ve been numerous times and the staff are always polite and helpful and go the extra mile to help include our disabled son in activities such as bungee jumping. The price for the day is so reasonable considering how much there is to do and comparing it to other places which charge ridiculous prices for so little. The food in the cafes is simple but good and again reasonably priced. There are lots of lovely animals and birds as well as indoor and outdoor play areas.in the summer there are boats you can take out on the lake as well as donutting on a small dry ski slope and rock climbing. Our favourite place which keeps the whole family happy :)

Attracted initially by the cheap admission prices coupled with the great weather, my expectations were initially low but only to be very pleasantly surprised . Very attentive staff, so much to do and see, both indoors and out for all ages made for a great day out and it wont be our last visit .

We came to Knockhatch Adventure Park on Friday last week, as I had bought an owl experience for my boyfriend's birthday. It was fantastic.

Our owl experience was led by Ben who was brilliant. He was so knowledgeable about the owls, so we learnt so much about them. We had the opportunity to fly the owls in the field and feed them which was so much fun. We also got to experience different types of owls, which was really interesting and Ben really brought to life what fascinating creatures they are. Later, we attended the owl show led by Ben, which was great. .

Upon arrival, before the owl experience, we had some time to visit the gift shop and walk around the park and look at the animals. The wallabies were very entertaining. We had purchased food for them at the front desk and it was a great experience to feed them as they gathered round.

Would really recommend the owl experience and Knockhatch. Many thanks to Ben and the owls.

We took our nearly 2 year old on a cold January day and had a brilliant time! I wasn’t sure what to expect but having lived nearby for 35 years and never visited we thought we’d give it a go.

Firstly the entrance was suprisingly good value - around £15 for 2 adults and a toddler. We also bought food for the animals at the entrance. When we first got in I thought it was only a few animals but we just kept finding more and more stuff to do. We went on a tractor ride, hand fed wallabys, stroked a goat, watched some owls being fed with a talk from the keeper and enjoyed the outdoor play! There is also an owl display. There was also indoor play but we didn’t use it so can’t comment.

Our little one was tired out so we didn’t explore everything but would definitely go back and might look into membership.

The only things that let it down were the catering, we had some waffles and drinks in the cannon arena. They were average but not too expensive. Despite the wooden forks there were a lot of single use plastics and drinks in the take away coffee cups. I have my own eco cup which the girl serving wouldn’t use and despite being very quiet the conversation to purchase waffles went like this;

“We’ll have 2 teas and 2 waffles please”
“Well I don’t know how long it’ll be for waffles”
“Ok, do you know roughly?”
“No, I don’t”
“Ok, we’ll we’d still like some please, just let us know when they’re ready”
“Ok” (the same girl then proceeds to make the waffles)

Would def have given 5 stars if not for the catering side letting it down! All in all a good day out for family’s with little kids!

This place is good for 2 years up. My little girl is 89cm and couldn't go on many of the rides as its 90cm height. The park was well spread out so never felt overcrowded and the the staff were very polite and always said enjoy the rest of your day when we left a ride.
