We wanted something to do for the whole day so we pre-booked tickets the day before, we arrived just before 10am and started to que, started on the right side of the park and worked our way round, all good for the kids. Food is pricey for what it is, if you can I’d bring your own food & drinks. A bottle of water was £1.40, sausage & chips £3.60, make your own baguette was £4. The children lunch bag was not worth it they got half a sandwich (2 little squares) Pom bear crisps, a fredo chocolate bar and a jelly pot, I thought they would at least supply a drink in with that but you have to buy the drinks separate. As a family of 4 we spent nearly £30 on lunch. What we did notice was disabled parking is only first come first serve. We have observed this from a very stressed family that had to push the disabled son from the overflow car park all the way to the main entrance.

Castle Park was amazing. My son made me do the indoor slides with him and im traumatised.
My other son is autistic and wore his ear defenders around the park. There were parts he could cope with but bits he couldn't. He loved the go karts but the queue was long and he doesn't queue well .

Awesome place for all kids ages. Just find the staff need to switch on a bit as I had to make sure the fastenings where secure and after had to retrieve my child.

Very busy at 10.00 long queue to get in although fast moving. Most of the things inside the park didn't feel that busy despite the amount of people and kids there. Except at lunch time huge queue in the playbarn for for food and at the burger stand. Prices for food and drinks are quite reasonable considering, kids had a great time, although they could possibly do with some more things for very small 2 to 4 year olds to do. Good range of activities and animals and owls to see. Well worth it

Great place for a day out with children. It's a great price (20% off) if you buy yr ticket online in advance. We love the Dino Safari, wooden castle, soft play area for my 5 yrs old. And also quite a lots of animal to see. Will recommend this place.

Such a brilliant place, really reasonably priced too which is fabulous. We paid extra for the trampoline and the go karts, which were both thoroughly enjoyed. Loved seeing the animals and the bouncy pillows were a big hit. So many great things to do here that we didn't get to do everything. We didn't use it but I loved that there is a play area for SEN children, so great to see. We would love to go come back here.

The only reasons I have marked it a 4 are the ridiculous queue to get in. We waited a good 45/50 mins to get in, I know that it's the summer holidays but covid is still around and the amount of people that are now allowed in /queuing to get in, suprised me, I know restrictions are gone but it still didn't feel very 'covid safe'

Also the designated smoking areas, at a place meant for children are honestly just disgusting. Obviously the smoke doesn't just stay in that area and wafted right near my 4 month old daughter in her pram. Quite disappointed about those two things but otherwise, a brilliant place.

Thank you guys!! Xx

We have visited a number of times but unfortunately this time a disappointment! Adults felt uncomfortable- too many visitors booked in. Queues for entry, toilets and drinks etc. Not enough hand sanitizer and some empty. Again high rope climbing shut as on our last visit! Not a cheap day out so all should have been open. Luckily children were unaware of our discomfort and had a reasonable day out. Probably won’t return🙁.

The venue is great with lots of things for children up to the age of 11 years BUT it needs much improvement.

Despite having booked tickets the queue in was ridiculous and we waited nearly an hour. They do not offer like other venues such as: Longleat - accessibility considerations for those people with SENd eg queue assist schemes. When I asked I was spoken to with rudeness and a lack of empathy and understanding. I had medical letters but told all children don’t like to queue.

There were no benches etc to sit on outside, so we had to sit on the damp grass. Picnic benches and benches would have been nice.

It was far too busy. Had to queue for 30 minutes for an icecream. Some of the staff were rude. The toilets were not that clean! There were too many people to make it a pleasant day out.

I would say this is a nice place but they do need to up their game on getting people in quicker, staff to be polite, shorter queues for coffee/icecream, cleaning of toilets and benches needed. I think most importantly to review how they can accommodate children with Send eg autism and be more empathetic rather than treat it as parents not wanting to queue and made to feel bad! Leaving them and their children upset. I suggest they look to SENd friendly places like Lingleat and their website on how to achieve this!

A great place to go to with kids, I went with my two grandsons aged 6 and 4 lots to do for a full day out. With large animals from cows, horses, wallabees, pigs, rabbits meercats and much more. A huge wooden castle that seemed to be a favourite with lots of kids. A couple of points i would note in the cafe where the soft play is there was only one girl serving food and taking money the queue was huge and took about 25 mins to get served, possibly they could get more staff. The other point was the bouncy pillows had a maximum number of 24 but there was easily 60 + kids on it with no staffing could have been a health and safety issue, but apart from that a very good day and recommend with plenty to keep the kids entertained all day

Great day out. Although its a shame they ask for extra for some of the activities. Also, the go karts needs more staff

Great variety of attractions for the kids... Ours age 5 and 7 had a great time. Make sure you bring socks and long sleeved tops for the indoor slides as socks are mandatory for all slides and the sack slide mandates long sleeve top.

Only gave it a 3 due to a few things still closed due to restriction although there isn't any restrictions and the man that tried to constantly get you to sign up to sponsoring and animal I think its wwf become a bit draining everytimeyou walk past and he's trying to cox the kids over.

A perfect day out. We spent a good 5 hours or so at Knockhatch. The kids loved the simulator ride and indoor Dinosaur Lost World Playbarn that they went back twice. The owl experience is amazing and had fun at the Dragon castle and crazy golf

I really like the place. Loads of things to do and staff really friendly. My only fault to give is the food and poor selection. We went on one of the busiest days and yet all the small coffee and ice cream places were shut only the big food places were open with huge queues. Even the Waffle house had a sign saying "no waffles".
