Went there for a visit with my 8 yr old. There are plenty of activities for the children to keep them busy but since most are outside you'd only get full value if the weather was good. It was a Halloween week and some special activities had been laid on which while simple were good.

We ate in the cafe where the prices were reasonable considering this is a captive audience event and tables were kept clean. My pizza was good but not properly cooked and my kids meals of chicken nugget and smilie faces arrived very undercooked. To the point the centre of them was cold. It's a shame as the nuggets seemed really good quality but I guess because they were busy it meant they were trying to keep up with orders. Unfortunately it was way too busy to cue to take them back and as I was with the friend i didn't feel it was appropriate to make a fuss.

A super place to take kids of all ages where parents grandparents can have some fun too. tHe animals are friendly and well looked after. tHe birds of prey displays stunning. Animal encounter great. Food reasonable especially pizzas. Picnic areas, soft play at foggiest quadrapiller rides tractor and trailer rides, chairoplanes, an amazing drop slide, runaway train, crazy golf, rowing boats, go karts and much much more. Enough to easily entertain young and older children all day and very reasonable entry fees and membership deals highly recommended

Visited here with our daughter and twin grand-daughters. Very wet morning so first we visited the animals all seemed well cared for. Good hand-washing facilities. Very quiet possibly due to the weather. Went into Froggies soft play afterwards. Plenty of apparatus to play on the girls loved it! Only downside to our visit was the cafe- unfriendly staff on duty when I returned to the counter to put milk in my coffee was greeted with 'what do you want that for?' how bizarre. Toilets were clean no issues there. Can imagine this place gets a lot of visitors particularly in school hols.
Shame about cafe staff.

We visited here with friends who live locally and it was a great day out. All three kids (6, 8 & 10) loved the bouncing pillows, bungee jumps, quadapillar, animal encounters and the birds of prey show.
It wasn't the warmest day so we stayed away from the waterslide though it did look like a lot of fun!
I thought the park was well spaced out, as we queued to park & get in I was expecting the worst but it didn't feel overcrowded inside at all...not even when we ventured in to the soft play to get warm!
It's definitely somewhere I would go to again as I think there's lots we didn't see and plenty for children of all ages.
Great attraction :)

As grandparents we decided to take our three year old granddaughter to knockhatch for the day
We hadn't been for years and what a wonderful suprise we got
There were loads for her to do and she loved it
There was loads of places to sit and it was clean ok muddy but my god what can anyone except
My only moan is the toasties sorry they were tasteless I had cheese and tomato my husband had cheese and onion
There was no taste in the cheese.
Like eating plastic cheese
Food very good price but I would happily pay a bit more for proper cheese
All the staff seemed very young but they were brilliant so well mannered and extremely helpful
So thank you all for a lovely day
See you again

We visited today with our 18 month old daughter. Booked online so the tickets weren't as expensive. There was lots to do, our daughter thoroughly enjoyed the park, the animals, the bouncy pillow, the boat trip and the indoor play (initially). The staff were friendly and the animals seemed happy.

Downside was in the indoor play.. We had to leave early as my daughter got really hurt. The play area specified for 0-3 years had SEVERAL much older children in it. One pushed one of the farm animals at my daughters face as she tried to walk into the little house. There was no staff around to ask to remove the older children, only one taking the food orders of a long queue of people. I understand it's the parents responsibility to supervise the soft play, but lots of parents clearly weren't, resulting in my child being hurt and us having to leave - even though I was next to her. Not happy with there being no supervision at all - just to at least ensure the basic rules are followed such as seven year olds not being able to hurt babies in the soft play.

Thanks so much for an entertaining afternoon. Our Son's 15th birthday party on the slopes, he and his
friends had a fantastic time. I was unsure when I booked it if it would be suitable for their age but far from it! It's suitable for all ages, so much so that the adults are thinking of booking a party in the future! Ample food provided, pizza, nuggets, chips, garlic bread and ice cream for desert. An hour on the slopes was just enough for them, they're shattered now!
Thank you to the staff, very friendly and welcoming.

We celebrated my daughter's 10 birthday at the park. The staff were excellent and made the day run very smooth. Everybody had a briliant time and were completely exhausted having spent all day on jumping pillows, trampoline and laser games! Thank you so much, the Knockhatch team, for the amazing experience!

New extension to froggies looks great. Happy with the park, decent price etc..

5th visit in 2 yrs and the same factor on each visit lets it down. The catering within froggies. My visit today was told a simple cheese toastie would take 30 mins to make. No partys on and only 20% of the tables were taken. Wasnt busy at all. So if all tables were full it would take 2.5hrs to make a toastie? 7 staff working and that answer let it down. Love the park, just frustrated with the lack of adult direction the young ones have in the catering part. And the young lad "screaming" numbers out at top of his voice over loud music scared half the customers with his agressive sounding voice. Very in-proffesional entire room looking at him and kids scared like they been told off. Not a good look. Why not invest in a tanoy system like most places. Happy with your park and its a great day out. I recommend all visitors though to bring your own food and drink and enjoy picnic side.

Only 1 negative comment. Rest is great. Cheers guys ☺

What a great place loads to do and see. I am particularly fond of the meerkats. The falconry display is amazing. There is a great indoor space if it rains and rooms can be hired for birthday parties. The petting zoo is a great attraction as is the water slide for adults reliving their childhood. A great day out and to be recommended.

Really enjoyed Knockhatch, lot's to do and see, beautiful day had by all the family. Remember to pay for extra rides at the beginning as you will have to walk back to the entrance otherwise

Going on an off peak (green) day it was nice and quiet, however that also meant that almost half of the attractions were shut off. Admittedly this is reflected in the price of tickets and as we only went as two adults and a one year old it was very reasonable. There was a fair bit to see and some activities for older children. Froggies (the main cafe) was the biggest disappointment: despite it being fairly quiet it took a long time to get service and the food options for children were sub par on the health scale e.g. you can buy a children's food bag but there is no element of fruit or vegetable (unless you count a capri sun which is full of sugar and from concentrate or a fruit roll-up, also full of sugar and from concentrate) included. It is worth noting that you can bring your own picnic and eat elsewhere in the park so this isn't a total deal breaker. All in all it was pretty average.

We are regulars to Knockhatch and think it's fabulous. There's one thing, which may sound silly, which I was absolutely over the moon about on my last visit... I could get my son's an icecream and slush puppy for ONE POUND each! Round of applause to Knockhatch, you're probably the only family Adventure Park not ripping families off for refreshments. I normally wouldn't buy my son's icecreams or slushes as I can't stand paying about £3 each for them, but at £1 they're such good value. It's very much appreciated and we'll keep coming back.

Although out of season when we went we had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. My 3 year old enjoyed all the activities especially the quad bike off road experience and the play park. We were impressed with the adults not being charged expressive prices to enter like some other family days out. Soft play area was a little messy and the fridges were broken on the day we were there so warm drinks etc. Very apologetic young staff who had been left to it as the owners were away. Delay in this review is due to it being in my draft folder when I thought it had been sent😀

Well the weather held out for us - thank goodness hey!!!

Some 2 for 1 vouchers, so the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children) got in for £19.98. To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect. The others had been there before, this was my first time.

Pretty easy to find and is signposted on the build up, ample parking. Don't think the park was too busy today as there were loads of spaces. This also made it comfortable in the complex. Kids got to go on what they wanted and plenty of space to eat.

Compared to other farm/countryish type places, Knockhatch is probably the best one locally. There is plenty to do, for example the kids went on the quadbike ride, mini motorbike's, both indoor and outdoor play area's. All of which are spacious and there is a freedom for the children to explore.

A number of outlets indoor and out to buy food and drink. Hot and cold offerings. Loads of animals also, from birds of prey to sheep, from deer to meerkats and the wallaby's.

My only criticism was the tractor ride, wow, one of the worst I have been on - extremely slow - see some bull's and a few other animals. In my opinion, skip the 20-25 mins and stay doing the other activities.

I think the offer for 2 for 1 made it great value, at full price I think it is OK too. Definitely will go back and use the facility. With hot weather, this place would be amazing, packed but amazing. So will be hoping for a hotter day next time.

Good to see they have wasp traps too, can imagine on warmer days that those pesy critters will be hanging around.

Do it guys, do it.

I've been here probably once a year for the past 5 years and for £31.99 for a family its great value with things to do for all ages. There are extras you can pay for but even these are fairly priced. I will no doubt be visiting again next summer. It seems a nice family run park which isn't too commercialised.

Took my two grandchildren here, boys 9 & 13. Great day out with pleanty to entertain good parking BUT.....
3 things to be aware of..........the postcode on this and other websites is incorrect and if you are not familiar with the area....THE POSTCODE is BN27 3GE
Secondly, you should be aware that different attractions within the park are open on different days.....check the website for prices.
Thirdly, there are food stations with reasonably priced good quality food BUT....not all have card payment facilities and so going back and forward to the entrane for cash is a pain especially if the Q is long!!
So get cash before you go or stock up at the entrance with 'cashback'
But overall the park is well stocked with age related attractions (some requiring £1 coins) and the WATERGLIDE is awesome and free!! The fun just watching these kids & Adults is worth the admission alone.

GO SEE and ENJOY

What a great park this was our first visit ,we spent all day here there is so much to do we arrived for the park opening and left when it closed and didn't manage to do everything. A great little farm lots of animals all well looked after. Huge indoor play area (froggies) and small area for under 5s. Best bits for us were the jumping pillows and the wave rider. My advice would be to bring a picnic we waited 20 minutes for a hotdog and a further 25 minutes for burger and chips at bears den, definitely not fast food , the kids meal in Froggies as you can see on the photo consisted of 2 chicken nuggets and 5 under cooked smilies , the pizza however was good value £5 for a 10 inch. The staff range from excellent (Olivia) who was most helpful, friendly and polite to (Tim) who was the most grumpy young man , he drove the barrel ride and locked the gate at 11am and refused a little girl in tears on her birthday ! a ride because she wasn't in the queue before he locked the gate , he then proceeded to take the other children who were in the queue before he locked the gate on a ride with two empty barrels , come on Tim shame on you ,bend the rules a little one little girl on her birthday!!! the whole idea of only running the rides twice a day was very bizarre as many people missed out, we got in the q for the tractor ride at 12 noon it runs from 12 until 12.20 whats that about ? when we got to the front of the q Tim said he couldn't take us as we were in a group of 10 then proceeded to take a group of 5 and a group of 4 , we had 3 young children with us and would have taken up less room than the 9 he let on! anyway we got on the 3rd ride but the people behind us were turned away and told to come back at 3 pm didn't like this way of operating rides I know it cuts down on staff but doesn't make for good customer service. Fab falconry centre , great splash pool the list goes on a great value for money day out . paid extra for laser quest and go carts but still worth the money. I would have given Knockhatch a 5* if it wasn't for Tim Ruining a little girls day ,the long wait for fast food and the very disgusting state of the toilets , these should be checked throughout the day and not allowed to get in the state they were in.

Great day out for the family. Good range of activities for all ages, my favourites were go karting & laser tag, however both had an additional charge. Boating and the large water slide are also very fun! Food quality in the park is high and there is ample free parking. Would certainly recommend.

We had a great day, knock hatch is perfect for all ages. Lots to do and great value for money even more so with tesco vouchers. I will definitely visit again soon. The only negative was all the wasps but every attraction seems to have loads this summer.
