Spent the day there whilst on holiday nearby. Easy to park in overflow car park. Went straight up to entrance and my son wanted to do the lasers as an extra activity which had an extra charge but very reasonably priced to go in. We had a lovely day, wasn't too busy the day we went but a staff member said it can be a 3 hour wait for the boating activity.

Staff very friendly and helpful all in all a fab day and would recommend particularly for younger children, my son is 13 but did still enjoy the day.

We love this place in fact in school holidays we go at least once a week. My kids love all the attractions. We sometimes take a picnic which is nice to chill out in one of the parks open spaces to have a picnic... If we don't take a picnic we eat in froggies which is a massive indoor soft play area...
We also like to go camping on the campsite which is brilliant kids love that to and you can also go fishing if you have a fishing license :-)... Staff are always really lovely, great first aid if needed to as my kids have ended up with a few splinters lol... A great day out for all of us

It does make me laugh how people can complain about Wasps... Really? You're meant to be reviewing the place, not natures invasion which is beyond anyones control.

After our visit we put together a short video, as you can see my kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQcP8He3ldM

On the occasion I visited there were no problems with the toilets, the staff we very helpful and the food was surprisingly good.

Knockhatch have small animals for the kids (petting zoo), larger animals dotted around, birds-of-prey and best of all playgrounds, amusements and rides - far more than what I was expecting. If I'm honest, we got more out of the kids playing in the parks and playgrounds than visiting the animals... but that's kids for you! The indoor play centre (near the food court) is also impressively large.

I'd give it 5 stars if the Parrot spoke back...

Well, it's as good an excuse as the 'wasp invasion' ;-)

We went for a birthday treat for a 5 year old, her brother and her cousin. The children absolutely had a brilliant time and there is nothing bad to say about their experience apart from that we ran out of time to do everything! They loved the soft play area, as did a million other children, and they loved seeing the animals. Which is where I have to make a small observation. The rabbits had NO water and although we did bring it to the staffs attention when we first went in, 4 hours later they still had no water. If a park like this is going to have animals as part of its attraction I would have thought the animals should at least have access to water. It gets extremely busy here so I would definitely suggest coming early during holiday periods!! But all in all it was a good day out and the children, ages 2, 5 and 8, loved every second of it.

We spend the day at Knockhatch yesterday and had an amazing day! There is plenty to do for all ages, and most was included in the entrance price. The kids loved the animals, the petting zoo and the slides! There was a good selection for lunch, and plenty of space of you took a picnic. We will definitely be returning, this time with our towels to make the most of the water fun too.

This is a good family venue with lots of things for children to do. We went with a party of Scouts aged 11 to 13, and found that they did not have enough time to complete everything given the time they had at the park but that none of them complained about it and seemed to enjoy their day. They especially liked the bouncy pillows, wave runner and go karts (extra cost). Their time ran out when they had to go off to the ski slope for their allotted time (extra cost). This they really enjoyed.

Took my granddaughter aged 9 and her friend aged 6. My first visit to Knockhatch! Plenty to do and the girls enjoyed themselves! I agree with other contributors that the grass Avalanche slide needs supervision and would advise bringing flip flops and a change of clothes! We had a very long wait for ice cream and the very polite young man serving us apologised profusely! He definitely needed help and two serving would have reduced the waiting time significantly (one doing teas and coffees and one doing ice creams).

Visited on a fairly busy and sunny Saturday with our 4 year old granddaughter. Initially, we were impressed with the facilities, although a little rough and ready in places, there seemed plenty to keep us there all day. The 'let down' was the boating lake. Despite the incredibly long queue, we waited for what seemed an eternity, as our granddaughter really wanted to go in a boat for the first time. The problem being that there were only 2 members of staff managing the facility, neither of whom seemed to be too concerned about the fact that so many people with young children were standing in the hot sun for up to an hour, even though there were several empty boats available. The young lady clearly was not capable to do anything other than hand out the life jackets, while her colleague held the boats while people got in or out. Why she couldn't have also helped with that to speed things along and get more people into the boats, heaven knows! Clearly not in her job description, but had plenty of time to lean against the fence a watch her colleague. This really marred the day for us, they really need more staff to manage this obviously very popular facility.

Large carpark. Good value for money. The tractor trailer ride was the most boring experience ever. It was sooooooo slow and all we saw was a hedge all the way around other than rubbish piled up by the campsite shower block. Lots of clean well kept animals and lots of activities to suit all ages. Indoor soft play was brilliant! Food was nice and fresh and helpful staff. Clean toilets and lots of hand washing places. I didn't like the rat in with the pheasants or the rat that ran across the gift shop entrance. Very good gift shop with lots of things well priced to suit pocket money. Take a towel and a change of clothes with you.

Having children aged 14, 12 and 4 it is difficult for us to find days out to suit all of them, but Knockhatch fitted the bill.
We used Tesco vouchers for our entrance fee but even the nearly £40 entrance fee we would of paid would of been worth it.
There is something for all ages, the older 2 loved the big water ride and the 4 year old loved the giant pillows.
My only gripes are that the whole place looks a bit tired, the birds don't seen very stimulated, the avalanche slide, in my opinion, should be staffed and the service in froggies cafe was very slow. The food arrived in a reasonable time but could really do with 2 tills.
The food and drink prices are reasonable as are the gift shop prices.
It is a bit dissapointing that some of the activities that the older 2 would of really enjoyed have to be paid extra for and I didn't think they were very reasonable.
All in all a good day out for our whole family.

Knockhatch is a place that is suitable for various ages The water slide was greatly enjoyed by a 17 year old and a 12 year old . The one year old was held and she enjoyed watching the people coming down the slide with a splash. There is lots of play equipment for all ages. The large bouncy pillows were good although some children were throwing the rubber chippings on to the pillows. The children in our party would have liked to go in the rowing boats. There was a big queue as there did not seem to be a time limit on the boats. That was a little disappointing. There were plenty of seats about. It would be useful to bring spare clothes just in case the children got wet on the water slide or had fun in the small paddling pool. There are places to have a picnic or buy food. The queues to get in were soon dealt with. The animals are enjoyable for the children to see. There was a birds of prey display. My only criticism is that the paths can be quite hard to push a buggy, due to the surface. we will return though as everyone had a great day.

Great day out for all the family lots to see and do. Free kids entry with one paying adult was great . Outdoor play was a big hit. Big site with plenty for everyone that doesn't cost the earth and something the kids didn't mind coming back to in fact we went twice returning the next day.

We visited knockhatch yesterday and had a good time, however the avalanche slide - a water slide with donuts to slide in needs urgent attention. The water is filthy- I would say dangerously filthy. I think the ride should be manned by staff. It requires water to flow down the astro slide to help the rings to move. When we were there two young boys were doing an excellent job pushing the rings down for smaller children and helping them half way down when they got stuck, but a ride than needs intervention from the public should be reviewed by knockhatch and observed/ manned by them.

Very cheap and good value for money. Came to the entrance and was very dissapointed to find the staff member who served us who i was unable to see her name badge but she had long brown hair tied in a pony tail was very miserable and had no enthusiasm and also didn't tell us anything about times or shows. Animals seemed well looked after and my children aged 14 and 8 enjoyed feeding them the farm food! Rides were brilliant as my children were old enough or tall enough to enjoy things such as the wave runner which they loved. Food was lovely! There was a que but that was understandable as it was a busy day, I was served by a tall blonde girl who was lovely and polite, she made conversation with my youngest son about what to have as he has dislexia and couldn't read the menu very well so she took the time to read out the whole menu to him, so I was very happy to be served by someone who seemed to have alot of passion for what she did, she aslo made conversation about our day and if we had enjoyed it, i didn't catch her name but think it might of been Katie as I only glanced. Food was amazing and was cooked by a girl called lisa i presume as I saw her preparing food as I was being served. However the girl that delivered my food threw it down on the table causing the beans for my sons chicken dippers meal to fall onto the table and when I asked if I could get another pot of beans she scrapped the beans off of the tray and put them back on the plate which I thought was disgusting! And her attitude was awful and was downright rude! Luckily I did catch her name and it was tia. Apart from those two members of staff we had a fantastic day out and will be coming back.

We went to knockhatch at the recommendation of a friend and we had an amazing day. My son is 8 and his friend is 10 and there was so much for them to do. They really enjoyed the water slide and rowing the boat on the lake. Even though the car park was full it did not feel busy in the park. There is loads of space to have a picnic or there is nice food available in Froggies. The animals were really fiendly and we enjoyed feeding them with the food we bought on arrival. Brilliant, brilliant day out.

My two are teens and probably a bit old for knockhatch but I had a spare tesco voucher so we went anyway. We had a great time, animals were lovely, especially the rabbits. Car park was nearly full but once inside it didn't feel busy. I felt a little sorry for the staff member in the ice cream shop... He was rushed off his feet and had no support, however he was very polite and apologised for the delay. In fact all the staff were very polite. An enjoyable afternoon.

My family and I visited during our trip down south using Tesco vouchers to part-pay the cost--however even at full cash price this place is well worth the entry ticket.

We loved seeing and feeding the animals but the play areas really set this place apart for me. All of the areas were clean, well kept and the equipment was all in full working order.

The simulator ride was great fun as was the death slide--really unique elements to add to the more commonly found attractions. My kids both loved the jumping pillows however this would be the only area that we would feedback to the management for possible review.

At the time my daughter was on the larger of the two pillows, there were two or three adult males (early 20's) jumping around on them too. This would not normally be a problem but they were back flipping all over the place which is signposted as strictly forbidden. Unfortunately, as there are no attendants in place, no-one was around to stop them. At one point, one of them bounced too close to my daughter causing the pillow to dip sharply meaning she lost her balance and twisted her ankle rather painfully (we had to go home after this as she was unable to walk for the rest of the day). He most certainly regretted it after my "red-mist" dressing down of his activities (protective parent alert) but perhaps if this kind of adult larking around on what is essentially a kids' apparatus was more strictly checked then the incident would not have occurred in the first place.

We enjoyed the food and ice cream we ate there and thought the tractor play area/picnic area was a really fab place to eat.

Also my kids both loved the Quadopillar ride and the go-karts. There is so much to do here it can easily keep a family occupied for the full day.

We wouldn't hesitate to visit again if in the area and would recommend it to anyone.

Our trip to Knockhatch Adventure Park was a mixed aged funday out. The weather was perfect which was certainly a factor to the enjoyment experienced with enough activities to engage the whole group including adults. I was concerned that some of the middle teenagers would struggle to find enough things to keep them interested and boredom free for the amount of time we would spend there (6 hours) however there was enough variety of things to do which kept even the most demanding of young person involved. i was also pleased that that there were few age restrictions so that all ages could enjoy the same activity together on many of the acctractions Staff were helpful, prices were reasonable but might suggest a picnic is taken, plenty of space to enjoy your own food and places to buy coffee, ice cream and snacks. if you are looking for large thrill inducing stomach churning rides not the place for you but if you're looking for enjoyable day out with the family with enough space that it doesn't seem over crowded this may be a place you would enjoy not to far from Eastbourne.

My 2 year old and I visited today. It was the first time we'd been on an orange day when all attractions were open. What a great place. We watched the birds of prey display and the owl display and both were great to watch and facinating too. There is so much to do and well worth the entry price.

Great day out with my niece and nephew and even I learned some new things about the wide variety of animals they have , amazing birds and lots of things to interact with. Small warning the new run away mine train simulator was very good but not for children was very jumpy, maybe I'm just to old for it ! But was all an experience that made a fun day out for the whole family

Love coming to knockhatch on the cheap days as i have a 2 for 1 that i found on the internet so its nice to walk around and let my little boy run free but i wouldnt pay full price forit.. i think theres not enough animals and not enough to do to pay the full price. Food is nice although theres not much choice.. love the softplay area now its been updated and extended! Hate the fact theres wood chippings by the jumping pillows asit kills my little mans feet maybe get sand? Other than that its good for a few hours out ☺

Had a great day with my daughter, lots of things to see, it's impossible to do in only one day.
The welcome front staff I felt a bit "sleepy" and struggling to answers my questions, but in general she was very polite.
Walking around seeing all kind of animals ; signs to wash hands were visible and there was enough soap and paper towels to dry.
So glad about the toilets, as there were very tidy and clean, also plenty of toilet paper and soap available (comparing with Middle farm, quite a shame).
The eating area, as they call Bear's Den Burger Bar, was clean and tidy. The girl who served us was ( Mia- I think), very polite and attentive. We ordered just some chips and some scampi, were very good * see pictures.
I've been checking through website all farm in East Sussex to take my sister and nephew from Brazil to visit, however the costs would be spicy, some attractions you pay extra, as I know.
In general it was a great day out!
Be back in August! :)

Realy enjoyed our trip to Knockhatch. Plenty to see and do to entertain children (and adults) of all ages. We we with a 1 yr old and he really enjoyed the sandpit and playing in the soft play area. We ate in the soft play area and the food was above the standard you usually find at these places. We will return and look forward to our next adventure at Knockhatch
