If you want loads to do from soft play, to parks slides and bouncy things then this place is great. The children love seeing all the animals and love all the petting and feeding.

Caters for all age groups, good food or just take a picnic, the staff and very friendly and the admission fee is very reasonable.

There are also extras... Rock climbing, laser type quest and a bungy harnessed trampoline

Loads and loads to do and get involved with, animals, falconry displays, water play, drop slides, indoor play even ice skating and a dry ski slope. Very good fun, could be a bit pricey as some of the activities are add on's once you get inside having already paid the entrance fee, some queueing during peak hours but very good fun and a thoroughly recommended day out

Had a great day out, there is lots to do and my children enjoyed it a lot. Most of the staff are friendly. Apart from two out of the three who work at the entrance/gift shop (only friendly one was one with the glasses). One at the cash desk at the entrance wouldn't accept out 2 4 1 ticket, even though we'd used one exactly the same recently before. No apology or explanation, just a take it or leave it attitude. Later in the gift shop that same girl was working in there and when asked the price of something she said 'how am I supposed to know that?'. The other surly girl at the till charged us nearly £30.00 for a few items which should have come to less than £10.00!. When we pointed it out, no apology, just lots of rolled eyes. We also heard the person behind us complaining about being over charged too. When sitting in the outside picnic area near the animals, one boy was being sick. His mother made no attempt to leave or clean up the mess, just carried on eating and talking to her friends. Next day my son came down with bad stomach bug, obviously caught from them.

Spent a day at Knockhatch. Had my teenage step daughter and friend with us. There was only a few things to keep them entertained and they was bored after that.
More geared towards the younger child.
Disappointed to find that after paying a expensive entry fee to find that you had to pay for extra things inside.

The bird display in main arena was good. But could hardly hear the women talking about the birds. Could have either done with turning up her microphone or putting more speakers around the arena. Or locating the arena in another part as it was near the bouncing pillows where the children was all screaming.

The critter talk. Total free for all and unorganised. The bloke really could of done with more help with controlling the kids that wanted to hold the insects and done with a microphone instead of talking loudly across excited kids.

Toilets was ok. But toilet doors could have really been better off opening inwards instead of opening outwards and possible avoided smacking somebody in the face as they was walking out.

Café looked clean and prices was reasonable but took a packed lunch with us.

Best part about the day was the rowing boats total hilarious and great fun.

Having visited previously, we booked a party for our 9 year old and 11 of her friends. Despite the damp weather, both children and parents found plenty to do from the 'ever scary' death drop slide to the exhilarating water runner, using up boundless energy on the giant jumping pillows before some active play in the adventure park.
We took out 5 boats with 3 people in each and the kids amused themselves by rowing round the islands in the lake, even spying some chicks at the waters edge - there was plenty of going round in circles and unusual rowing technique along with some getting wet but we had come prepared and as most of us parents grew up in the 70's, so getting muddy and wet in old clothes is part of being British. Something to be encouraged in our modern age of hand held technology and couch potatoes.
The animal displays are hands on where possible and informative.
Personally not so keen on indoor play areas generally but apart from the loud music, froggies new extended seating area is a useful respite from the wet and the pizza is tops. Good prices compared to a lot of larger theme parks.
Every member of staff we met was a credit to knockhatch, especially the helpful and polite pair down at the boating lake. This is a major asset.
Lots of the party guests parents had never been before but have all said they will be coming again and bringing back siblings. Several of the adults had a go on the water fluke and death drop slide, with one who has recently turned 50 saying it was the most exhilarated he had felt in as long as he could recall😀

Visited in half term took about 20 mins to queue to pay to get in . Thought would be manic inside but as the area so large it never felt that busy

So much to do for the children and good value for money and nice food will definitely be going back in the summer

Visited today and had a fantastic time as usual. Really recommend the Pizza's in Froggies. We had three today and they were all fantastic. Freshly cooked, hot and extremely filling - excellent value for money. Well done Knockhatch!!

My 2 grandchildren, Ben and Lilli went on the Animal Keeper Experience. Their tutor, also called Ben was brilliant. He was clearly dedicated and explained everything about the animals and how to look after them. It was truly a hands on experience. Back at school they had to give a talk about all the many things they had done in their holiday. Knockhatch beat the rest hands down.

I went with my partner and two daughters, aged 5 & 9. When you arrive, please bear in mind that the entrance few does it take in to account extra rides/experience. There are plenty of little farm animal, birds of prey etc. There is a great soft play area in doors, and a fantastic water slide which skims you access the surface of the water. A great day out.

We had a wonderful time with our grandchildren who were just recovering from chicken pox, we went on a green day which was really good value. The staff were charming especially the lady on the swing ride. The play areas were lovely and clean. We will be returning very soon. Many thanks to all your lovely staff.

A friend and I took our kids to knockhatch as we do regularly. The boys wanted to go on the zip wire but it was closed due to the weather. The boys were really disappointed and a member of staff "Ben" overheard this. Ben came over and asked if the boys would like to hold one of the snakes in the reptile centre. The boys were very excited. Ben then took us all round to meet the snake and he spent about 30 minutes with us letting the kids hold the snake and sharing all of his knowledge and information. He is clearly very knowledgable and answered all the kids questions. He clearly didnt have to so this for us but it was lovely that he did and we all really appreciated it! Great afternoon.

I took my young daughter here. It was a Green Day which means that not all the attractions are open, still enough to keep us busy for 2 - 3 hours. Check their web site before going for what is open, the good thing is that prices are reduced if not everything is open. Parking is easy in the large free car park next to the attraction. There are a few animals and birds to see and a pleasant walk around the grounds. The indoor soft play area is good and the ride on the quad bike train was great fun. There is a little cafe that we only got an ice cream from so can't comment on the food. The place was very clean and animals appeared to be well kept. It will appeal to a wide age range of kids and is worth a half day outing, perhaps longer if all attractions are operating. I think that the admission charges are fair for what is on offer.

Lovely day out at Knockhatch. Most of this is outside so preferably need to go on a nice day. Good balance of farm animals with attractions such as boats and water slide. The only downside was that we went on a weekend which wasn't in certain dates, therefore, a lot of the bigger attractions and more popular ones were not open. Due to this, I would double check next time I visit to make sure I am in correct date brackets for attractions I wish to visit. Limited choice of food in cafe and was a long wait (50 minutes) to get meals for children, however, meals are good quality and reasonable.

Knockhatch is a lovely day out at a very reasonable price (with discounts) with lots to do for different ages!! All staff on attractions very helpful & polite!

And then there's Froggies .... It's had a massive overhaul & whilst it's much better for seating it's still as filthy as ever!!!! They need to employ an additional 1-2 members of staff to clear tables & the rotten floor at peak times!!!

We had a fantastic day out at Knockhatch; young and older alike. What stood out most of all was the friendliness and helpful attitude of the staff. Everyone was very smiley and courteous and nothing was too much trouble. The owner, Colin, was especially helpful for which are extremely grateful and would like to say a huge THANK YOU to him for the leggings!
We will be coming again and again!

What a pleasant surprise. A old school, low technology activity park for kids and parents to enjoy. Climbing, bouncy, jumping and sundry other ways to expend energy in a beautiful country setting. Entry costs were very reasonable and covered most activities, although it is possible to buy 'extras' such for Go Karts, Laser Quest, mini quads and the more adventurous activities. The park also has a range of animals, a petting farm and Birds of Prey centre. Food prices were good value and there is plenty of space to enjoy a picnic, although a blanket is recommended as benches are somewhat limited. We really enjoyed a day burning off surplus energy without an IPod or X Box in sight!!

Granted, we had great weather today 09/04/15, but really don't knock it. Not yet at least.
It's a petting zoo on steroids with a selection of animals to see and feed plus a number of attractions, many of which cost extra.
We've been many times over the years, and as my youngest is now 12 I wondered if she would still enjoy it.
Well she did. And I enjoyed that!
The good weather meant it was mobbed, but their "orange day" extra activities meant it didn't feel crowded, albeit parking was a bit limited later on.
We opted for go-karting, and as we were early we were allowed 10 minutes instead of the standard 5. 5 minutes cost 3.50 ish.
The water slide (inclusive) was a huge splash - pardon the pun.
Lunch of chicken nuggets /burger chips and drink at 5 pound a head was tasty and freshly cooked. But they have plenty of space to picnic. I'm just lazy. On holiday anyway.
OK. It's not the biggest. It's not the most varied. But we saw lots of happy faces.
And yes, the sun helped. But we've been plenty of times in normal weather and we went back.
Why not knock it yet? I have a feeling it could get expensive and it's already lost some of its mom and dad's business appeal. Given the huge amount of people already around the area and the vast amount of new builds, the temptation to up the prices may be overwhelming.
If my 12 year old wants to go again next year, I'll let you know. For now, we had a blast.

Plenty to do & see. Lots of fun. Parking is difficult and takes longer than it should, but will be back.

Itmay not be the most hi-tec adventure park around, but there is plenty to do to entertain the family for a day. Aside from the usual petting area, the owls and birds of prey, and kiddes play area, there is plenty more to see and do. If you take a boat out onto the lake, don't forget to get your fish pellets first - these guys are very greedy and fun to feed.

One not to miss is The Wave Rider. Even (if like me) you don't like heights, it's great fun and a must - at least once!

The entrance prices are very good (especially if you book online in advance). The food and drinks, although pretty standard fayre, are very reasonably priced for an attraction like this. Many of the rides and attractions are included in the entry fee, but there are a few extras if you want to pay for them.

We would definitely recommend a visit.

This was my second visit, we were given a member of staff, Dave, to take us round for the day. He was brilliant he managed to get us to all the available attractions on time enabling us to ride on tractor, quadrapillar and see an animal show. Add to this he was great with the kids. The weather wasn't good but we still managed to do and see lots of things. The children decided the highlights of the day was EVERYTHING! They couldn't narrow it anymore.
Will I take children again most definitely.

My Grandaughter and I have quite a few fun days at this park, she is only two so if you go out of season it makes it a very reasonable day out, different days have different attractions, but you always have the animals, and the soft play area. you can buy a paper cup of seed and feed the animals. also when my older Grandchildren go with me in season they love all the attractions such as go karts.
Even in season it is a cheaper entrance than most other childrens parks in this area.
you can buy cooked food in the soft play area, but would advice you take a picnic, only you get a long wait for your food.
