Spent a whole day during half-term and have to say that my 7 year old grand-daughter had a great time. There was plenty to do. We were fortunate that the weather was great, although a fair bit of standing water made some of the equipment unusable. Would definitely go again but next time we would take a packed lunch as the food we had was dreadful. The only positive was that it was hot. The burger was completely tasteless, and my grand-daughter found the hotdog inedible. Whilst I understand the limited menu, there is little excuse for such poor quality.

My son (3) and I visited Knockhatch on Saturday 18 Oct. I was generally really impressed with the number of things to do, the upkeep of the attractions and animals. They are obviously trying really hard to look after the attractions they've got and introduce new playsites. I was therefore really gutted to order some food from the Burger Den and find that the scampi I had ordered for my son was this awful spongey blob of white matter deep fried. My chicken was also reformed, no salad etc. You simply cannot away with serving rubbish like that to people anymore. I would be happy to pay more for better food (but the price is no excuse). Now when we go again, I'll bring a packed lunch. Frankly, and I don't say this lightly, you should be ashamed to serve food like that.

Great place but staff let it down. It could be an amazing place if staff had some enthusiasm for the job. Overheard staff saying different jobs on site were boring and no one wanted to do them. Had to speak to a manager about a refund I was owed. I was given the refund but then told I shouldn't have got it. Not actually customer service, even if that was her view. The place needs some energy pumped into it. The water is a great added attraction and queues were too bad, the boating lake is really enjoyable for any age. Unfortunately sat on wrong side of tractor ride so did not see anything but trees. Where as people on the other side saw all the animals in the field. Tip, sit on the right looking into field. Great for younger children, older children have the advantage of great go kart rides but you have to pay extra. The bouncy thing says under a certain age but adults were on it, when I inquired they said it was fine anyone could go on. Take the sign down! Make sure it is dry day as most things are outside. Have fun.

We don't come to knockhatch very often, in fact every time I say never again but the kids talk us round!
Last visit we managed to use a 2 for 1 entry code so it cost £19.99 for 2 adults and 2 children, pretty good value. There is a lot to do here, the kids love petting the rabbits and guinea pigs etc and were so excited to see the reindeer. But, and it's a big but, this place is just so old looking and tired, in fact the word I'd probably use is grotty. Everything seems grubby and dirty, especially the play barn, which is concerning as this is where the food is served! We bought a hot lunch in the play barn (not the greatest but not awful either) and couldn't sit down due to all the tables being taken up with people eating their packed lunches! We ended up having to eat on a grass verge outside!
In short the kids will have a great day here but don't expect to be wowed

Spent last sunday at Knockhatch I was impressed with the value of the place and the amount of things to see and do. The staff were all good and took their time with us and particularly my son. One member of staff was very nice encouraging my son to have a go at the vertical slide, which he would never have attempted without help. We will definitely be returning, we had a lovely day.

I have two children (aged 5 and 10) and we often visit Knockhatch for a fantastic day out. They have a range of animals (many can be stroked and fed by visitors), the animal shows are really good fun and keep them both entertained and there's an adventure park, boats and rides as well. It's a really fun and full day out, there is an indoor soft play area and indoor animal barns for wet weather, and the prices are extremely reasonable compared to other similar places (book online in advance for a discount). It caters well for different ages which is good for my family. They also offer great party packages - my youngest had a brilliant party there a couple of weeks ago and my eldest has done a keeper experience looking after the animals. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and all in all it's a fantastic place to visit.

Visited with my friend and three kids using Tesco vouchers during the summer holidays. The weather was good and there was plenty to see and do, founds the animal enclosures excellent but other parts seemed tired and run down. Unfortunately we had to queue for over 40 mins for Icecream and gave up queuing for the boat rides completely. This experience has put me off from returning any time soon.

We visit knock hatch quite regularly. Staff are friendly and helpful, entry prices are good value and the rides and attractions are a little different to what you would normally find. Always seems to be something new each time we visit

We visited 4/9/14 and had a great day. It's very reasonably priced compared to other similar places (we paid online so slightly cheaper) . My son is 5 so there was loads for him to do without needing to pay for any 'extras'. The animals are lovely, especially liked the wallaby walk through. The birds of prey are great (birds of prey are a favourite of mine) and the show was very informative. There is loads of outside play equipment (didn't use the indoor one) which my son loved. The boating lake was lots of fun. The quad ride was excellent and bumpy, great for all ages! We took a picnic and there was plenty of places to eat it. What more can I say, other than I'm not sure how people can moan about this place. I'm sure in the holidays it's far busier, same as all other places. We will definitely be back!

Just had a very nice day here with a friend and 4 very excited boys.
We all really enjoyed our day, we loved seeing the animals and birds of Prey. Lots of baby animals about too, the baby meerkat and baby peacocks were beautiful.
The children obviously loved all the parks, boats, slides, ball pits, trampolines etc.
We didn't manage to see all of it so another visit is on the cards.
My only negative was that we were not asked at the entrance (when we were paying to get in) if we wanted extras ie laser quest so we had to re queue to pay for this. Slightly annoying but didn't ruin our day.

This was our second visit - we came first as Tesco tokens pay to get in, then made a return visit as we liked it so much. It's very laid back with just the right mix of attractions: animals you can feed, an excellent indoor play area, great outdoor play equipment and a giant waterslide. We also went on the runaway train ride this year and our sons played on the mini quad bikes. The jumping pillows were also a big favourite as were the birds of prey. As a lot is outside, great weather does help, but there's plenty to do even if it rains. We spent a lot longer there than we usually do at these attractions, simply because it was such a great place to be and there was so much there. The large layout of the site makes a big difference: even though the car parks were full on the day we went, it never felt packed. The food was very good value and very tasty - better than taking a packed lunch. We'll definitely be making a return visit.

We used Tesco vouchers to get in which was fantastic value. The place was busy as it was the holidays. The kids (13, 8 and 5) loved all of the attractions, especially the water ones, and yes they got soaked! The playpark by the boating lake was fantastic, and a huge hit - especially the zip wire. There is a huge amount to do. On the downside, I do agree that certain parts are looking a bit tired...Froggies, the inside area was horrendous! There's no other word to describe it other than filthy, all of the tables needed clearing, the floor was just disgusting. We queued for 15 minutes to get an icecream to find out that they had run out of chocolate (of course that's what all of our kids wanted), there was only 1 member of staff serving, it took forever. Overall I think if I had paid and not used vouchers Id have been very disappointed...we will probably go again in the Summer (I don't know if it would really be worth going in the Winter??) but if we do we will definitely use the clubcard exchange. One more moan is that the bins were literally overflowing after lunchtime, nowhere to put your rubbish...

Had a nice day out here with my Granddaughter. Various activities and attractions to do and see. The extras are a bit much though and could maybe worked into the entrance price. Also need to be able to book and pay online the same day as visit as the queue to get in can be a bit long.

Visited as a family and had a wonderful time. My son, aged 14, particularly enjoyed the Laser game. We loved the water slide, crazy golf and boating lake. He also participated in the carting and loved it. We all loved the dear animals and birds. Most of it paid for with Tesco vouchers. Sadly missed the talks but would definitely visit again. Recommend for all ages.

I've been here a few times over the years and my children aged 11 and 9 still enjoy going there. Their top 3 things to do were the (joint 3rd) simulator/demon drop slide, wave rider and avalanche slide. I would advise to take some spare clothes for your children as they are going to get wet! We took a picnic but bought some chips, drinks and ice creams which I thought were all reasonably priced. My only small gripe for the day was the overflow car park, it was a nightmare due to the recent rainfall.

Went with 9 year old daughter.
It's a reasonable price to get in and we stayed all day as there was so much to do.
Lots of outdoor play facilities and an indoor play barn. Nice animal section.
Food was ok and staff helpful.

I went with my family and we all had a lovely time together. Lots of animals to see, indoor and outdoor play areas, giant bouncy pillow and boats to ride in on the lake. Great staff and was particularly impressed with one of the staff when we needed extra assistance. I think his name was Kyle.

We visited Knockhatch with my parents and my 13 and 11 year old sons. The entrance fee was reasonable but having to pay for the extras (which older children want to do) felt a bit of a con.
Although the rest of it was brilliant
We especially loved the birds of prey show. The man that did it also talked to us about the lovely meerkats.
The food and drink was reasonably priced and was very nice.
It looks small but there are many hidden gems

We used our Tesco vouchers so didn't mind paying extra for an activity and my children chose the bungee trampolines. There is just so much to do here including tractor-trailer rides, drop-slides, jumping pillows and my children loved the panning for gems. It was £3 for a bag of mining ore but they ended up with a pot full of gems and had a great time. We would definitely come again.

We took our family here for a treat which they all thoroughly enjoyed, a lot of the attractions are included in the price and those which aren't are reasonable. We particularly enjoyed the boating lake and the wave runner, our granddaughter loved the bungee experience which although an extra cost she found it well worth doing. The included falconry display was very good and most interesting. The food and drink prices are reasonable and all in all a really good family day out even at full price although we used the on-line 2 for 1 offer.

We took our kids (6, 9, 11) to Knockhatch and they had a great time. There's plenty to do and the animal talks are well worth taking the time to do and very informative. Some of the rides and attractions are pretty basic, could do with some TLC and you may well get wet or muddy but I almost prefer that to the sanitised experience at Thorpe Park or Chessington. My youngest wanted to go on the boating lake. Again it's pretty basic but he got behind the oars and mastered rowing and came away very happy. We got kicked out when the park shut and would probably still be there if it was up to the kids!

We go to Knockhatch quite often as quite reasonable in, especially if you pay in advance online and loads to do there! So much so you really have to get there early to get round everything!

As a family, we are finding it a struggle these days to find something we have not seen, done or experienced in the south east. I have known about knockhatch for a while, but have never been tempted, the media surrounding it always made me think it would be disappointing, following today's visit, I'm happy to say I was proved very wrong....And I think my children would agree too.

We had a 2 for 1 voucher, so the price was very good, but even then I don't think the actual price was at all bad for what was on offer. We were there a good 5 hours, only saw about half of it, and the kids were never even close to being bored.

If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend a trip to knockhatch, probably needs to be a good weather day, as most of its outside

We took our 2 godchildren, aged 4 and 8. We arrived at 10 and left at 5. They petted and fed the animals, played in the adventure playgrounds, rowed round the lake, bounced, slid, had a tractor and caterpillar ride and had fun all day long. A great family day out. Get a voucher for 2 for 1 entry so great value as well. Food and ice creams very reasonably priced. One suggestion would be that they need seats and picnic tables in the wave runner area and adventure playgrounds, as the children spent a lot of time here and as it had rained the night before the ground was too wet to sit on for the adults. A great active day out for the children, and relaxing for the adults as there was so much to do they were happy all day long.
