Arrived at 11.00 & left at 18.00. Just under £40 for 2 Seniors, 2 parents & a 4 year old. A bargain in this day & age.
Split into 3 really. Animals to see & touch if desired, Free inclusive attractions & some additional charged attractions for the older Children, such as laser & rock wall climbing. Food available, but plenty of picnic space. Car park unmanned and a bit of a free for all when busy, but there is an overflow car park.
Our Grandson loved the tractor ride, the rowing boats, the bird of prey demo & being towed in a catterpillar of oil drums behind a quad bike & the water slide on a mini sled.
Weather kind to us, need to have a good day as it is mostly outside.
Just hope they do not try to get bigger, put up prices & spoil the place as some other attractions in the area have done.
Beware of Sat Nav as it could take you to the old enterance which is at the back of the park & no longer in use. Better to use post code for attached caravan park.

I live locally and for some unknown reason had never been although had been told about it. I was so surprised! It was a brilliant day out. It wasn't a 'theme park' as such but a collection of activities and animals around a collection of old farm buildings and yards that had obviously evolved over time; petrol go karts (that actually go reasonably fast); a slide/shute that starts scarily vertical from inside an old barn; laser quest; Llamas/Alpacas, Wallabys; hawks with shows to show them off; and the one thing that all the children loved (of all ages) a huge bouncy 'pillow' that they ..... just bounced on. It was so refreshing not to be bound up with H&S - there was real fun, BECAUSE there was an element of everyday type risk (one of ours came back with five cuts and grazes and a huge satisfied smile from running around so much.
A great day - without rip-off prices - food and drink was 'normally' priced or even a little cheaper.
And the very best thing was EVERY worker we spoke to was lovely - the first aid chap with the plasters, the girl in the kiosk who seemed to be genuine when she asked how the day was going, and the lady in the ticket office who not just replied with 'bye', but (again) seemed genuine when she hoped we had a good day.

This was our first visit to Knockhatch and we certainly weren't disappointed. We have two girls ( 5&7) and they enjoyed every second of it!
Entrance fee was very resonable.
The Farm has a mixture of activities and is also a wildlife park. Our girls loved getting up close to the Wallabies and feeding them from their hands. The drop slide was so much fun, the bouncing pillows, quad ride, quadbikes, indoor activity area, bird displays, adventure playground and the boating lake! Brilliant!
My eldest and i ( dad ) had a game of laserquest. We both loved it but you have to book a time slot when you enter the farm.
Lots of places to eat at very reasonable prices. You are more than welcome to bring a picnic.
I was going to rate it 5/5 but I want to take a point off because of one or two little niggles. The first one being the entrance. Not that we had to wait a long time to enter but the fact is the same person collects the entrance fees and serves at the till in the gift shop. Either way , someone has to wait whilst the other is being served.
The 2nd point is that the sole of my shoe was partially ripped off ( my own fault )and it was impossible to walk on the stoney surface in some places. I asked at the shop if they had some tape or even a piece of string but they were very unhelpful and said they didn't have any. Now you would think being an attraction of that size they would have a bit of tape or string?
The final point is the bark they place around the bouncing pillows. Our girls ended up with several splinters in their feet just like several other children who were sitting on the benches next to us! We reccommend to wear some socks in that area.
But as we said, these were only minor points. Overall we had a fantastic day and it was worth every single penny.

i took 2 11 yr old boys their. They thought the day was brill. Theirs some thing for every one. Food is cheap to buy in cafe but we took a pack lunch. So things (rides) were extra but well worth it. It takes all day to go round and that doesnt seem long lol . worth the money and worth checking it out

This is an amazing day out with a mix of animals and play areas! My 7 year old son thought the Demon drop slide was great, the animals were fab too! We have been to Knockhatch lots of times and there seems to be a new attraction each time we go. This time there was a new paddling pool which was ideal in the hot weather. The staff are very helpful and friendly. There are loads of activities which are included in the very reasonable entrance fee such as a beautiful boating lake and rodeo bull ride (which my 10 year old daughter loved!) We have always found the park to be very clean and tidy and as always we had a very full, fun day. I would strongly recommend this attraction to families, they will have a great time!

Just so much to do that we couldn't do everything in 1 day. The kids loved it and the entry fees were really reasonable. Food OK but like most places I'd suggest you bring a picnic as there are loads of seating areas etc. Friendly staff, clean loo's. Go early and make a day of it

We have been here quite a few time now as its such good value for money so many things to do there and loads included in the price, our son loves the demon drop slide (free) the boats are really good fun cant help but laugh when trying to get the boats to do what you want also free there are the giant pillows to jump on (free) the bird of prey show is great too a small water area great for the younger kiddies to play in when hot like the other day when we went. Our children are 10yrs and 12 yrs old both enjoy there time there fun for all the family, great play park area too
parking is nearby so no worries if you leave the picnic in there only a couple of minutes to collect it even better : )

Very reasonably priced, (also takes tesco days out vouchers at present). I took my parents and three children for a day out in August.
There are additional charges for some of the attractions, but we found we more than filled the day without needing to pay for these.
Lots of play areas, the children loved the boating lake. I was very impressed with the staff throughout the park,they were so helpful and friendly to the children, makes all the difference!
Plenty of picnic areas also.
I cannot comment on the indoor play area as we had such good weather we didn't need this. However it definitely seems more a place on dry weather days, not sure there would be a lot to do otherwise.

Spent day here with my twin daughters, friends and their toddlers.
The place has a variety of things to do for all ages.
We opted for Knockhatch over Drusillas due to the price. I paid £18 less at Knockhatch and we weren't disappointed.
Refreshments prIces were reasonable, staff friendly and all in all a good day out!

Visited Knockhatch with 3 grandchildren aged 2,4 and 7. This was our first visit and a real find. A good value day out with lots of activities for all the children. The staff were attentive and friendly and helped the children without making you feel that they were there under sufferance. The bird display was excellent and although slightly rustic in feel the buildings provided all necessary amenities and food/beverages were not overpriced. Some activities required an additional charge, however there were more than enough things to do to keep our girls occupied. We arrived at 10am and we left with 3 very tired children at 4.15p.m.

I am staying with friends in Hastings and have just been there today. I thought this was great value for the attractions that are there. We were 3 adults, 2 7 year olds and 2 4 year olds. The kids loved the Pirate Cove splash pool ( as it was extremely warm today) just a warning the paint is peeling off the pool even though it is new but this is due to the paint not taking to the new cenent. Knockhatch have acknowledged this but have voted not to close it until after summer so as not to disappoint anyone. There are jumping pillows, a boating lake, a barrel rude (all included in the price) adventure playground, animals etc... See website for more information. We arrived at 11.15 and left at 4pm and still hadn't done everything so it is very good value for money. Would definately go back if I lived in the area.

Had a really full day, so despite having to pay extra for some of the activities it was good value. It's a shame so many attractions charge extra on top of the entrance ticket! but the most expensive here was about 4 quid for the Go karts.
Another plus was the varitety of activies..some running about stuff and some quieter things like the rowing boats (with so many fish in the boating lake the kids were able to touch them!) and of course seeing the different animals.
Would highly recommend this as an activity for the holdays and it didn't have that 'lets squeeze every pound out of the parents we can' feel to it that some of the larger attractions do.

went here on a day out 3 adults 1 child July 2012. paid peak price but half of the things there were shut only 1 out of 4 places to eat were open. ice cream shop closed. train ride closed. yes it was a nice day out but not what the website makes it out to be. if i had not paid peak price i would not have minded.

When we eventually found Knockhatch, we were slightly worried what we had come to! But what a gem, great value for money. The staff were very helpful, if very busy running from one activity to the next. The demonstration in the barn was excellent and very informative. The cafe offered very good value for money food, and you didn't have to have something and chips!
If we lived nearby we would defiantly be annual members.

We are regular visitors with passes to get in - worth it if you visit about 3 times in the season. Indoor play area which has seating. Fresh food including sandwiches and pizza. You can bring picnics Outdoor play areas for younger and older kids, bouncing pillows, drop slides, adventure playgrounds, boating lake (free), walk-through animal enclosure, animal demonstrations such as falconry and snakes (free), go-carting and laserquest, mini golf (payable) for older kids. Large, landscaped play area with animals to look at too. Food kiosks around park. Large sandpit and ride on toys for smaller ones - Froggies indoors has sectioned off area for smaller children. Does kids parties too. Camping available at rear of park, and in winter, dry slope skiing further up road.

There is new building work going on, looks like more cages.
There are plenty of animals from birds of prey to horses and pigs.
We took sandwiches but there is a cafe on site and it is reasonably priced.
We very much enjoyed our visit and will return again.

love the farm . lots to do and fab staff. had nice day the two weeks ago, as they had a great magician! he was fantastic, and would love to see him again. there are so many things for all ages, and very relaxed place. we are members and worth joining.

Had a great day out with the children (aged 4 and 6) at Knockhatch. There is loads to do for children of all ages and they seem to be improving the attraction every time we go. The quadapillar is always a hit and they have it running more frequently now which means less queing than there used to be.
It's good value for a family day out - there are additional activities that you pay extra for but younger children aren't really that interested in these so that saves a bit of money.
The display in the display barn was very interesting as the man presenting it was excellent (it featured a tawny owl, barn owl, meer cats, pole cats and American kestrel).

We recently went to Knockhatch on our holiday in Hastings and we enjoyed it. We went on an off peak day which only had the farm and play area open. The animal encounter talks were very good and you get to touch the animals which my son enjoyed. Play area was great fun and adults can play too :) we didn't try the food it was quite expensive but you can take a picnic which is always nice. With it being off peak it was great value for money, would defiantly go again.
