Good food and welcoming staff. The restaurant shares facilities with its sister restaurant (which may be the more upmarket one) next door. Our family group of 6 were comfortable this side. Starters were decent, the separate mains of fish and of chicken were nice, the pizzas were tops.

I heard so many good things about this restaurant and I was not disappointed when I tried it myself! Excellent food polite service and very reasonable prices! Can't wait to try more tasty dishes. Will be back soon!

The welcome was warm we were shown to our table social distanced from all the other tables , easy to read menus and not a lot of time once you've ordered to when you receive your starters ,The food was excellent but we did check the bill as somebody had put an extra bottle of wine which we didn't have , all in all excellent food and friendly service .

We go to this restaurant every time we visit Eastbourne, and this restaurant never disappoints!
Food and atmosphere is typical of a good Italian restaurant. We were served very quickly despite the fact that we visited on a Tuesday night during the governments eat out scheme. Staff very friendly. Will definitely go back next year.

We pre booked this restaurant before visiting Eastbourne. When we arrived it was chaos. They were certainly cramming everyone into the restaurant. No socially distancing at all. Felt quite unsafe.

Order take out pizza. Fresh and tasty, thin base. Whilst waiting, food coming out of kitchen looked good. Clean and simple. Would recommend!

Having eaten in Pomodoro e Mozzarella for many years the food and service has always been outstanding. All of the staff are very pleasant and accommodating.
The excellent service is paired with great authentic Italian food. With an extensive menu to suit a wide range of preferences, the portions are generous and the food is always delicious!

I love both this restaurant and the sister one attached La Loco da del Duca. Excellent service, excellent food, excellent prices. Staff are so friendly and helpful, helpful, nothing is too much trouble. I visit both these restaurants 2/3 times a month and had takeaways as soon as they were able to offer this service. My family always go there when they come to visit.

I visited the restaurant on a day trip in Eastbourne and I made a great lunch spot choice! It was busy and I can see why it‘s popular with locals.
There’s so much fantastic choices on the menu and I went for the salmon tagliatelle. Huge portion, fresh pasta, plenty salmon - absolutely delicious. Other food I saw going to other tables including pizza looked amazing too. The restaurant is spacious and bright and prices are reasonable. Service was very good overall, could be a little friendlier.

Was recommended by our local taxi driver and didn't disappoint. I think we came just before lunch service ended so was a bit rushed. The main came out immediately after the starter but staff were friendly once we'd ordered and settled. Moules Mariniere was yummy.

We have eaten here on many occasions and it never disappoints. The food is always freshly cooked and hot, the staff friendly and helpful and the restaurant clean and welcoming. Today all staff wore masks and there was plenty of hand sanitiser available if required. Movable screens in operation if table layouts had to be changed. One way in and another way out. Tables well spaced and cleaned after use. Well done to the team who worked hard to make everyone feel safe and comfortable.

Visited here for the 50% off scheme and loved it! The food was delicious and generous portions too. Very reasonable prices even without the discount and I look forward to going back again soon

Had a lovely meal here, menu is mainly pasta and pizza. Much better than any of the famous Italian chain restaurants. Generous portion sizes and a great choice of dishes. They were busy but all COVID-19 precautions were being taken and it felt safe in the restaurant. Desserts were also delicious, the tiramisu especially!

I visited Eastbourne this weekend with my family and using Tripadvisor I picked this restaurant. I was very happy with the decision!
We were seated promptly on a nice big round table, with space between the next one, and presented with comprehensive menus.
After ordering a round of drinks, a very friendly waiter assisted with our starter choices. The aubergine parm was delicious and the zucchini fritti were tasty. The waiter recommended some garlic bread too, which was light and crispy.
For mains I had veal with spaghetti carbonara (changed from pomodoro), my wife ordered penne arrabiata, my mum had a vegetarian pizza, my dad had the spicy sausage pizza and my brother had the vegetarian calzone.
The portion sizes were generous and everyone enjoyed their dishes. The dough was very light on both the pizza and calzone, which meant neither was too heavy. We enjoyed a nice bottle of valpolicella with our mains.
Despite being full we managed to share two desserts. The tiramisu was nice, but I've had better. The chocolate orange tart however was excellent!
Service was friendly and attentive throughout without being obtrusive. We were not rushed at all which enhanced our meal.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an Italian meal especially as the menu has something to satisfy everyone.

Ate here with my family. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The gluten free range was excellent. The pasta was delicious and good sized portions. There is a varied range of dishes to suit all tastes. Would definitely visit again in the future.

I visited with my friend and my 3 month old baby. Thanks to the buzz of a busy restaurant I felt relaxed dining with a small child.
