Came for late dinner after firework concert. Restaurant was recommended to us by the owner of hostel we booked for that night and we were not disappointed. Even though we came late we didn't feel rushed. Food was tasty and we were served by very friendly polish waiter. There was little issue with my boyfriend's drink but it was fixed quickly and our expectations were exceeded. We left the restaurant in amazing mood.

The place was heaving at seven thirty in the evening. We were a group of ten, excellent service and good quality food which impressed all of us. They have a huge menu but the kit he coped brilliantly. When we left the place was still heaving.

I have been here several times, and the food and service and atmosphere are all excellent, so highly recommended. However, just a few minuses - for an Italian restaurant with a large menu, I was disappointed that there were only three risotto choices. I also thought that a charge of £5.95 for a glass of Pino Grigio was outrageous and the choice of beers very limited.

We had a lovely meal pre show and can say that the staff were very efficient in getting us served speedily with hot and very tasty food. Would certainly go again

Such a great restaurant we went back three days in a row! Really extensive menu, ranging much wider than the usual pizza and pasta - the goats cheese starter was delicious, the sea bass yummy, the sardines (so rarely seen on menus) absolutely marvellous. The staff are really pleasant and incredibly efficient. Loved it

Visit here whilst on a holiday in Eastbourne as a trip down memory lane! We ate here and am so glad we did. I have coeliac disease diagnosed at 3 and I have never seen a menu like there's in my life!! I was left open mouthed! Such variety for someone who usually struggles!!! Thank you for this memorable visit!

had to eat early and quickly as going to a show - and this restaurant managed to do that with a well cooked meal served very quickly. House white wine was good too!

Went for a works leaving meal, 25 of us in total. The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Considering the large group the food came in reasonable time and was really good. The sea bass had a couple of bones in but other than that very nice. Set 3 course menu for £12.50 was great value for money.

A bustling pizzeria restaurant with a wide ranging menu. The restaurant were very accommodating of our request to eat earlier than our reservation. Service was very good and the place is extremely well staffed with individuals efficiently performing their duties. The three course special menu at £20.50 is very good value and has a good choice of dishes, which are served in generous portions.
My wife thoroughly enjoyed her avocado salad starter and sea bass main course. The busyness of the restaurant attests to its popularity and quality of the food served at attractive prices.

My 5th visit for my birthday. Excellent traditional service as always with more elbow space than normal. Food excellent with large choice. If you are looking for a fast in/out meal this my not be the place for you. Small touches like olives, bread usually included.

Saturday at 7.30pm was heaving but after a short wait we were provided with a table for 2. The menu was extensive but I already knew what I wanted from looking at the menu earlier on in the day.
The Risotto Al Marinara did not disappoint as it was packed with clams, mussels, king prawns and squid - the best version I've tasted so far. My husband had the Veal in a creamy mushroom sauce. The meat was tender and the sauce was delicious. Maybe could have provided slightly larger portion of veg and potatoes, but only minor point.
People were queuing throughout our meal and I noticed lots of families with children of all ages. The staff were run off their feet but we didn't feel forgotten or rushed.
Would definitely go back.

Have just moved to Eastbourne, though knew the town fairly well before. On Wednesday we arrived here almost by accident and were so impressed. Service is very attentive and friendly, the menu is extensive and the food wonderful. And authentic! Excellent pizzas, beautifully presented salads and great pâté and whitebait. Lovely atmosphere - will return again and again!

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Came for dinner on my anniversary, and had a very friendly greeting from the waiters, followed by delicious food, beautifully presented, and at the end of our meal the waiters brought us a complementary glass of limoncello each. A lovely meal.

My sister and I dined here during our recent stay in Eastbourne, the restaurant having been recommended by our hotel. It was lovely. Open, lively, busy, friendly with excellent food and service. I very much look forward to a return visit when I am next in the area.

Without having to argue about it, we topped and tailed our recent time in Eastbourne here. A single course lunch (pastas and pizza) with a friend on the Sunday of our arrival and three courses for dinner (starters, pastas and puddings) as a couple on the Sunday of our departure were both examples of why this remains a fail-safe choice for visitors to the town.
The service on both occasions was first rate, the food generous, tasty and well presented, and the charges quite reasonable, so we will certainly return on our next sojourn in Eastbourne.

Called in on a Sunday of the bank holiday around 7pm and understandibly was quite busy, and continued to get even busier. What was very difficult to deal with was the level of noise. The main open plan room must hold at least 80 covers and it became clear that people couldnt hear there conversations so began to shout and so it went on till everyone was shouting and became an unbearable experience to the point that we left as soon as we had finished. Food was reasonable but the ambience just reaaly spoiled this eating experience.

Had lunch here the other day with my wife and mother in law. The food was good and the service was good, we picked items from both the set menus and the a la carte. If you are around the area being just off the centre of town it is worth eating here but it is not a destination type restaurant. Always very busy with a very loyal local clientele.

I came here with my boyfriend and his family on bank holiday weekend. Even though the restaurant was extremely busy we received brilliant service and our waiter was extremely friendly. We each had a starter and main course and they were all faultless. My boyfriends mums and dads lamb and veal were so tender and delicious. My boyfriend and his sister had fillet steak and they were brilliant cuts of meat cooked perfectly. I am known as carbonara snob and I must say it was one of the best I've even eaten. For the high level of food standard it was lol reasonably priced. We live in Essex and I would travel the distance to eat there again. Brilliant food, great service :)

Was recommended to this place via advertising on a theatre ticket.
What great value £10.95 for a 2 course meal With 10% discount As a lady on my own I was well looked after. Food was good. My original table was near a door and very chilly, so asked to be moved even though it was very busy and very few options left! 2 glasses of Prosecco at reasonable prices. My only negative is once you have asked for the bill and not asking for a dessert and coffee, all waiters, put a blank on you, show disinterest and just await for the next person to arrive. No one says thank you, before you leave. This spoilt the experience
