Always good food, always reasonable price, with an excellent if slightly noisy atmosphere. Come here regularly and always have a good time.

Good pasta, tasty sauces and good atmosphere, very popular in the springtime. Good service, slightly roomy, not the most picturesque building, but a nice place to eat neverless.

I was on business in Eastbourne and didn't want to eat at the Hotel. This restaurant was recommended by a local colleague and it didn't disappoint. I like Italian food as long as its authentic, and this was. Tasty food, well presented with good service and even better at a reasonable price. Well worth the walk!

Having spent many years in Italy I appreciate good Italian cuisine. I always go to this restaurant whenever my husband and I eat out. The premises always look clean. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent.

We enjoy Italian food and recently visited Venice where we had some excellent meals. This one in Eastbourne certainly comes very high on our list of favourites. The antipasti was huge and the lasagne al forno had the most minced meat I have had in such dish

Wen were looking for restaurant that was open in the evenings and the taxi driver reccomended this one. What a find! It was buzzing and offers smaller portions which was ideal for the older members of our group. Not only that but gluten-free pasta is offered as an alternative for every pasta dish. Tagliatelli with ham and mushroom was our favourite.
You won't be disappointed here!

We were pushed into this restaurant because on the bank holiday Sunday Eastbourne was almost shut, only usual chains were open. The place was busy considering it was close to 14:00 so something was right.
Simple menu with two courses for £10.50 or three for £11.75.
We started with Bruschetta the other being Mushrooms in garlic oil. Both were excellent, tasty and enough for a starter.
We both had Spag Bol the pasta was cooked correctly with enough sauce to coat.
We had a chocolate mousse type dessert which was not on the normal menu, it was gorgeous, too much cream in it and too nay calories.
House white was reasonable in price and to drink.
Service was attentive without being overbearing, although they were running out of tables there appeared to be no pressure to rush.
Overall we agreed this was a good restaurant for a quick lunch meal as the food was good and cheap as well. Not an evening venue for us.

Was recommended this by a friend and I was far from disappointed. They have a dedicated gluten free menu which has a gluten free pizza which is better than any other I have tried! The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great, both my own and an adjacent table ordered from the gluten free menu and it was great!

We had two meals here during our stay in Eastbourne, and thoroughly enjoyed both. The place is very well run. It was packed the first night we went, but we weren't kept waiting either to order or for the food. The waiters and waitresses work really hard, clearing tables quickly and keeping a sharp eye on who has finished, etc.
It's clean, and the food we had was delicious and well-presented. We'd had a couple of shocking meals earlier in the week at Harry Ramsden's and Pizza Express, but this made up for them. And at £10.50 for two courses, available 5 days of the week, it's really good value.

We had a group of 8 meal at lunchtime and the food, presentation and service was excellent. Overall it was eveything you would want for a reasonable price.
The decor is a bit retro, but not tired, and the loos are about 50 feet under the road so be careful if your not confident with steps (there is a disabled toilet on the ground floor).

Excellent Food, Service and Cleanliness, I have never had such a warm welcome and Quality of Food all in One Place. Prices are well under priced for the Quality received and would highly recommend as it needs to be tried to be believed.

Went here as a solo diner, I think that kinda freaked them out a bit at first as the restaurant was very busy with families, couples etc.
The menu has an extensive menu, with favourites such as Pizza/Pasta and then some very nice Seafood - Fish dishes. They also have 5 red & 5 white wines by the glass. Had one of each ( that's 2 glasses not 10!!). The Chianti had a good depth and flavour.Bruschetta was nice, the tomatoes were fresh and the bread toasted not burnt.
I had the Seabass fillets with Ginger and garlic. Fresh and potatoes accompanied it. The taste of the fish was sublime and the veg cooked firm.Tiramisu was okay, a slight disappointment after the main however.
Overall I would recommend this restaurant for the food, but for me the staff just edge the last star off it.

The restaurant was really busy, which is always a good sign. The staff were attentive and friendly and the food was nicely presented. As for the ice cream - probably the best I have ever tasted!

The set lunch is great value. The lasagne is one of the best I have ever eaten, plentiful and very tasty. The bruschetta is also excellent as a starter. the staff are lovely - friendly and helpful. Strongly recommended

This restaraunt is by far never a dissapointment. The food is always lovely and the owner is a rare personality in a restaraunt. Greeting customers and making sure every customer is happy, also not being above himself to do the typical jobs like clearing tables, taking orders and even bringing customers they're bill. This kind of dedication is rare to see. The food is affordable and the service in general. The only thing i would alway suggest is to book as if you show up and just want a table you may be waiting a while. Beautiful restaraunt and beautiful service and will definitely be a regular restaraunt for us as long as it remains.

We arrived unannounced and un-booked but despite being rushed off their feet and evidence that the place was heaving , we were accommodated and had reasonable attention. we chose the three course set dinner which was good value at £11.75 per person. Good interaction with the friendly (Italian) staff and the food ( we had a mix of bruschetta's , lasagne, spaghetti, hot pizza and special breads, minestrone soup, tiramisu's ) and wonderful coffees. Not bad for an impromptu visit for a family on the run away from a nearby Travelodge!!

My partner and I ate here early on a Sunday evening and were very satisfied with our experience. We hadn't booked and the restaurant was quite busy but we were seated and served in no time, yet were able to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed - staff were clearly keeping an eye and were there if needed but knew how to strike the right balance. Just about every type of diner would probably be happy here, regardless of the occasion: there were at least two birthday parties in progress during our visit but the atmosphere was fine for couples, too, and there were also lots of family groups. We received the impression that we could have had as fast, or as slow a meal as we wished and with as much or as little ceremony as appropriate. Not easy to please everyone but Pomodoro e Mozzarella seems to manage it!
