Wonderful theatre under great management whose shows cater for such a diverse range of theatrical and musical interests. In particular it is especially strong in developing children's interest in the theatre and giving them the opportunity of performing on stage.

A piece of Eastbourne history that could easily be overlooked due to many years of neglect from EBC however, under new management this theatre is being refurbished and going from strength to strength it hosts popular shows for the entire family, at reasonable prices it’s a joy to visit and be welcomed by a fantastic team of volunteers who love the theatre and hence give their time willingly A truly special place

This theatre brings back that excitement you get from when you would visit the theatre as a child. The new decor throughout the building has really brought back the glamour the theatre deserves. A wide variety of shows are always on throughout the year suitable for all audiences. Booking tickets is made simple and prices are reasonable. I've never come away from a show at this theatre without a smile on my face, would highly recommend.

The Royal Hippodrome is not only a fantastic entertainment venue offering a huge variety of plays musicals, concerts and cabaret entertainment, but also a historic building that in recent years has been like a Phoenix rising from the ashes and has been restored tastefully. The Hippodrome offers a warm welcome from the moment you book a ticket arrive at the theatre served at the bar and shown to your seat. It puts customer service at the heart of its business. In 2019 I visited the theatre over 20 times and have left with many happy memories. Keep doing what you do well bringing live theatre to the community of Eastbourne.
