In terms of value for money, I’d rate it very highly. The vast majority is remotely managed. It’s the best way to work because it’s not disruptive or intrusive in any way. We hardly ever see them – which is a good thing!

It would be a disaster if our technology let us down and we didn’t have the team at Southern IT, we have some very important commitments as a company. What I like most about working with Southern IT is they give you a solution you’ll get use out of – rather than selling you a Rolls Royce you don’t really need.

We have used Southern ITs services to gain our IASME Governance standard and Cyber Essentials for our cyber security and data governance standard.
The certification and implementation process from end to end was first class with all the assistance with technical controls and policies we required to raise our security standards. I can't recommend Southern IT and the Cyber Essentials / IASME enough if you are looking to improve your IT security.

We chose Southern IT in October 2015 as our outsourced information technology provider. In addition to replacing our front office system, we moved our headquarters location last year. The team at Southern IT served as a tremendous resource as we selected a moved internet service provider, had a new phone system and moved our servers to a new location. They have provided consistently good support and have become a trusted advisor.

I don't know how we coped before having Southern IT working with us, our IT support was slow to respond and everything always seemed to be an 'extra' They promised a genuine fixed monthly fee, and they certainly deliver. Not only are my IT headaches sorted quickly and efficiently I know exactly what i'm getting and paying for each month.

Southern IT look after all aspects of our IT Requirements and nothing ever seems to much hassle for them. Most of the time nothing goes wrong anymore since they just look after everything in the background, but they are always there for when the inevitable problems do occur.
I am particularly impressed by the security guidance and best practice advice we receive from the team, and onsite awareness training for all our staff.

Having just attended a webinar presented by Southern It Works, I would like to express mu thanks to them for a well presented, easy to understand talk on Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essential Plus. We have a new monthly contract with Southern IT and whole-heartedly recommend their services. They came to see us and stayed for two hours to understand how our business works, what we need from IT support and listened to all of our long list of issues. Then they sent two more team members to update and streamline all our systems and software, with lots of interaction and explanations throughout. Now they are working on recommendations for new hardware to speed up our processes, as well as helping us with GDPR and Information Security Management System concerns and questionnaires for our clients. They have also been our saviours several times already in dealing quickly and efficiently with all the tiny niggles that stop the business running smoothly, like printer link failure or gliching email screens. It’s such a luxury to be able to phone or email them and have them access your computer remotely and fix the problem immediately. Southern IT are worth their weight in gold, let alone a monthly fee!

I have just used Southern IT to support my application for Cyber Essentials certification. As a (very) small sole trader business, this was a difficult hurdle for me to overcome.
I found Southern IT to be extremely supportive, helping me through a number of (for me) tricky technical issues without charging extra for the service, while at the same time successfully meeting my very urgent deadline to complete the certification. Perhaps most importantly for a company undertaking certification work, the final assessment was rigorous, and I had to complete the exercise twice before Southern IT’s assessor was prepared to certify me. Altogether an excellent customer service experience.

We have just changed all of our IT over to Southern IT and It was a great experience from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble, we had minimal downtime during the changeover and the whole team have been nothing but professional, quick to respond and courteous the whole way through.
