Tectonic installed an EV charger and upgraded some electrical circuits to add some future-proofing. From the initial survey to the completed works, the team (Nigel and James) were professional, friendly, courteous and punctual. They cleared up everything after them, leaving no mess.
Unlike some larger national companies who quoted for the job, they carried out a thorough survey and were able to fit the EV charger where I wanted it to be fitted rather than limit the cable run to 10M.
If you need an electrical job doing well, I'd thoroughly recommend engaging Tectonic.

They have just installed solar panels together with batteries and back up circuits. It looks superb.

We recently asked the team to install solar panels on our bungalow. We have had a lot of work done by Nigel and the team and have always had a great job done but this time they went above and beyond. From guiding us through options, installing and the handover including loading apps to your phone, they have been fantastic.
The system we have has 13 panels, battery storage and the ability to feed back to the grid. With a very clever set up it allows us to use our own generated electricity instead of drawing from the grid and any excess is then sent which is financially fantastic.
I constantly look at the app on my phone and laugh when the sun is shining thinking we should have done it years ago.

When I was updating my TV stand first of all I disconnected all the cables, I thought it would be a case of plugging them all back in... Sadly my Sky box had other ideas. I had previously had this happen and after a week of trying to fix it I finally got signal again. This time around I really did not want to wait so I called Nigel within a few minutes on the phone he had talked me through the possible errors and within an hour i was all hooked up and ready to go again! I think it has an even better connection now due to attaching the cables correctly!

Really excellent service from Tectonics today. I needed some urgent electrical work in a kitchen refit and Nigel fitted my work in at short notice. Efficient, organised service and James did the work for me with great skill, calmness and good humour - the job was a bit tricky! Although I’m out of area in Tunbridge Wells I must applaud Nigel May for the assistance he has given in respect of my application to UKPN for installation of an EV charge point. Over the last few days he has promptly and patiently answered my many questions and I’m hopeful this will culminate in TDS carrying out the installation work.

He took time to understand our requirements, offered suggestions and explained the recommended set up in clear language.

Nigel and his team wired all of the electrics on a new extension to our bungalow including fitting a brand new alarm system, nest central heating and doorbell camera system.
From start to finish the standard of workmanship was excellent with everything fully explained and simplified so that even someone like me who is not tech savvy could understand.
