I hadn't been to a dentist in over two years because I'd lost confidence in my previous practice. I knew I needed to find a new dentist but I was worried about signing up to another and falling into the same situation again. I actually asked on Twitter for recommendations in the Eastbourne area and checked out a few places but for one reason or another I was still unsure. Then Dave Ruddle Twitted a recommendation for the Dental Barn and I'd already driven past it a few times.
From first looking at the website to my initial appointment I felt at ease and confident. I was made to feel like a person and friend rather than just another patient. The setting is extremly relaxing, modern, clean and friendly. I immediately felt at ease, welcome and able to discuss my needs without being rushed.

After searching for a Dentist and Hygienist for a long time (i have a dental phobia) I found the Dental Barn. Thay are professional and caring and treat me with kid gloves. The relaxed and welcoming atmosphere envelopes you when you arrive. The treatment i receive is excellent.If It was possible i would give them a six star status !!

I've been having a course of treatment at The Dental Barn, and everyone there is incredibly friendly as well as being professional.
The barn is a lovely, relaxed setting in which to go to a dentist, but it's the people that make it. It's my favourite of the dentists I've used over the years!

Alison and her team are the most friendly, helpful and welcoming group of people that I have ever had to deal with. You are made to feel you matter to them as soon as you walk through the door and they do everything they can to ensure that you are comfortable and get the best treatment that they can offer. They make going to the dentist a pleasure!

Not only is the quality of dentistry at The Dental Barn exceptional, the level of individual and personal care from Alison and her team is amazing.
I completely trust them all with the dental treatment and ongoing care that they provide to me and all members of my family. My children love going to the dentist!!
The surgery is a welcoming, relaxed and warm place to visit with easy access and parking. It doesn't smell, look or feel like going into a traditional dental surgery!
I would highly recommend this dental practice to:
- new patients such as young children (as they will learn how to look after their teeth properly);
- those who normally don't like going to the dentist (the team are not at all scary!); and
- those who are more long-term dental patients (the quality and reliability of work is extremely high).

My wife and I have been under the care of Alison Thompson for many years. We have been happy to follow her to the Dental Barn where effiency and friendliness make for a calm and caring atmosphere.

I have been an NHS dentist user for years always thinking private would be so expensive I could just make do with basic dental care.
Having the opportunity to give private care a chance I now know the difference! I have a better understanding of my teeth and gums my dental routine is much better and I have seen a 80% improvement after just 1 visit!
The team are all really friendly and I feel they care more about me than my limit on my credit card. The payment plan looks affordable so I hope to be looked after by true dental professionals for the care I know I should have been taking but put off due to "cost" after all looking at what I have spent in repair could have been avoided with proper preventative care.
