My boys went here for a few days over the Christmas holidays as part of a club. They really enjoyed the climbing walls and abseiling down the wall. The guys that work here are friendly and welcoming.

Matt and Edd, both experienced climbers, poured their enthusiasm into building the gym. They converted an old warehouse into a vibrant climbing space adorned with colorful holds and challenging routes. The gym's name reflected their vision - a place for ordinary people with an extraordinary passion for climbing.

From the very beginning, Matt and Edd wanted their gym to be more than just a training ground. They aimed to foster a sense of community and camaraderie among the climbers. The Ordinary Climbers became a melting pot of individuals united by their love for scaling heights.

The gym offered a variety of climbing walls catering to beginners and seasoned climbers alike. Every nook and cranny was designed to provide a unique challenge, ensuring that climbers of all skill levels could find routes suited to their abilities. Whether someone was a first-time climber or a seasoned pro, there was always a warm welcome at The Ordinary Climbers.

As word spread through Polegate and beyond, people from all walks of life flocked to the gym. Families came for weekend adventures, teenagers found a place to test their limits, and seasoned climbers sought refuge in the challenging routes. Myself and my two sons - Theo -9 & Moss - 11 booked the
" Ordinary Climbers Experience " . Our instructor was Rocky. In the words of Theo "He was amazing .He made it fun and exciting, it was out of this world so thank you " . We will definitely be back.

Went here after a climbing wall experience on holiday.
What a great welcome we had. Sighing up & done our 3cs course with Kinga, she was a very good teacher & we passed first time . Now we are competent climbers & members.. not bad for 56 & 60 year olds.
All the staff are fantastic, we are made to feel like family with a cheerful greeting & fist dumps from Ryan 😂

Had tuition to pass the 3 C’s test with our instructor Kinga who was excellent.
Made to feel most welcome..& Kinga kept us safe and gave us loads of confidence.
I would recommend this climbing centre for all…we found all the staff friendly & professional.
Your never to old to try something new.. 56 & 60 years old.

My kids absolutely love this place. Great fun with a brilliant instructor. Matt was excellent at helping to overcome any nerves and encourage them to challenge themselves whilst having great fun. Would highly recommend
