This is by far the best Indian restaurant I have been to. The food is amazing, the staff are friendly and so polite. Would very highly recommend.

Found on Tripadvisor and we weren’t disappointed. Easy to see why this restaurant is highly rated, great service and lovely tasting food at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

This was my third visit in as many weeks! Excellent food and a good wine selection. Try the Lucknow Chicken - it's excellent!
We will be back !

Currently (11Sep) hidden in scaffolding due to nearby building. This absolutely does not affect this restaurant or it’s wonderful food, only that you could miss it if you hadn’t had it as a destination. Seek out this place. Very good food. I had the seafood Thali.

We were drawn here by the items on the menu being different to those typically offered elsewhere. Everything comes served together so take your pick from the street food, chef's specials and accompaniments. This is the place to be bold and try something different. There were six of us, so we picked quite a range, and everything was good. From the street food section I recall the squid, paneer fingers and the chilli chicken getting the thumbs up. The meat thali offered a selection of dishes that were gentle on the palate compared to the fiery lamb dish, which was definitely fiery, and which we just had to order a second helping of! Deserts were then a must.
Service was spot on, food was great, I would definitely recommend a try out.

A lovely restaurant with great service and good ambience. The staff are lovely. The food is nice enough but doesn't wow; it lacks a bit of flavour - it definitely feels like a Western take on Indian food rather than genuinely Indian!

Great flavoursome dishes, not your standard Indian restaurant, give it a try. Sevice was fantastic, the manager is a real asset to this sightly hidden gem. I can't recommend this wonderful and surprising restaurant enough!

Came for a Sunday night meal as it was recommended by our hotel. On arrival was a bit put off by the scaffolding outside but decided to go as it looked lovely inside.
Restaurant wasn’t very busy so got a table straight away and ordered easily. We were looked after by the manager but he might also be the owner he was very polite and made us feel very welcome.
All the food we had was very tasty and really nicely presented. We will 100% eat here again when we next visit Eastbourne and highly recommend Tuk Tuk.

We chose dishes not found on run-of-the-mill menus (there were a few of those also) and were not disappointed. Flavoursome, interesting and beautifully prepared dishes, attentive service, in bright dining space. GO! and do NOT be put off by the scaffolding currently outside.

My first EatOut meal was great. Really nice food, well priced and super tasty. If I had one concern it would be a lack of social distancing which was a shame as other than that it was great.

We recently visited Eastbourne on a few days away with our best friends and booked this restaurant before we came based on the menu and reviews...it didn’t disappoint!
When we arrived our table was waiting for us and we were seated and given menus straight away. It was hard to choose as the menu was so vast but after a little instruction from the manager (it’s not like Indian restaurants where you order popadoms, samosas etc as starters...you order everything at once as that’s how they work)...so we all decided on a dish and went from there.
My 2 children are quite fussy and one has an egg allergy so sometimes it difficult to eat out but I’d seen the fab children’s choice to which they both liked and the staff were great about checking allergens.
The food was delicious, fresh, colourful, bursting with flavour, you could taste every bite...the portions were quite average but you didn’t need more, we left feeling satisfied and not bloated which sometimes you do after this sort of food.
The shop was part of a block where it was covered in scaffolding so couldn’t find it at first but it’s very close to all the hotels & pier area.
So all in all 10/10 guys, would def recommend Tuk Tuk...shame there aren’t more around in England.

Absolutely lovely! Me and my wife currently down from Manchester due to work commitments. Had a sneaky meal out, great food all round great hospitality and service along with great prices. We did have a slight hiccup with part of one dish but owner was genuinely upset that this had happened and knocked our drinks off our bill, absolutely lovely hospitality and great food!

The food was amazing. We ordered poppadoms, Tarka Dahl, channa masala, Bombay aloo, naan breads and pilau rice. These items were very fresh and tasty with just the right level of spice. The restaurant was clean and Covid19 safe. The staff were friendly. We would like to dine here again whenever we come back to Eastbourne.

first time at tuk tuk, and what nice change from the usual curries, lots of lovely sounding dishes, my wife had a curry that we had never seen before, she loved it, i had the platter which was also lovely, we are planning to go again and sample the little street food dishes, lovely food and brilliant hard working staff

Oh wow I can’t sell this place enough. We went to Eastbourne for a cheeky night away without the kids and actually struggled to find anywhere decent to eat where we could get a little bit dressed up and have some good food with a nice atmosphere. We nearly settled for a bag of chips then spotted this little gem hidden away under the scaffolding. It smelt amazing and I could see it was busy but thought we’d ask if there was space for us even though we hadn’t booked. The man who see and served us ( I think he was the manager) said yes of course if you don’t mind this table as it’s the only one available due to Covid and social distancing. It was next to the bar/desk. We took it and not once did we feel over crowded or in the way. The food was on another level. Would highly recommend the chicken sag and the lamb ragistini. The staff were all very attentive friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and very well organised with the new Covid rules. Really really enjoyed dining here and will definitely return when visiting Eastbourne. Thankyou Tuk Tuk!
