Now this place means alot to me. The first time I went here, was actually on my first date. And after all those years, we're still eating regularly (probably stuffing our faces more than we should be!) at this lovely restaurant. Why?...

Because they serve THE most delicious, fresh, flavoursome Thai and Chinese food we've ever had. All the meals I've ever ordered over the years have been consistently very tasty and full of quality.
(Portion sizes are very decent by the way - my fellow scoffers. They do not disappoint)

Also, I've found that the staff are so welcoming and conversational. They genuinely look happy to be there - unlike some other restaurants I have been to.

I just can't praise this place more! I'm pickier than anyone I know, but ...in terms of constructive criticism...I'm stumped. Overall, this is a must try in East Sussex. "Yummiest noodle bar!"

From the reviews here, we must have caught them on an off day.
My girlfriend had chow mein which was good. I had sweet and sour chicken with rice, which tasted like an Uncle Ben's microwave meal. It was horrible.

My girlfriend ordered green tea and the server went into a long thing, repeatedly telling her that green tea isn't the kind that you put milk and sugar into, talking over her as she tried to say that green tea was definitely what she wanted.

Time to pay, they said cash only. I said no problem and as I was paying with cash I asked if they had a sign out front to warn that it's cash only. The server ignored me, staring down at the surface of the counter as I asked again, and when I asked a third time she said "we had a machine but it's broken."

It's cheap, and maybe I just had bad luck with a bad dish, and maybe the server was just in a terrible mood, but it was a pretty rotten experience overall.

I don't want to give them too low a star rating because I don't want to mess with anybody's livelihood, so I'm giving them a 3.

The service was friendly and efficient. As advertised the dish I had was yummy. Overall a very welcoming and pleasant experience. Only point to note is it currently is cash only but I believe they are looking to put in a card machine; best to ask before ordering.

Loads of options and friendly service. I had the Chicken in Hoi Sin Sauce, lovely flavours. Taking advantage of the longer opening hours.

This is our go to place for Yummy food. The staff are so helpful and friendly. They smile for everyone. Fast, friendly and efficient service. We are Gluten free and they adapt the menu for us. They also ask how spicy you like you food, mild, medium or hot. We love going there and bring friends when they visit too. It is a happy place to share delicious food. I highly recommend a visit.

The yummy noodle bar serves amazing food and it is really reasonably priced! My husband has been going there pretty much since it opened nearly 20 years ago, and myself for 10 years! They literally make the best chow mein I have ever tasted! Cannot recommend the yummy noodle bar enough! We love it here! A really relaxed environment to grab a quick meal or sit and enjoy your food!

Brilliant noodle bar behind Eastbourne station. Delicious tasty food at a very reasonable price. Place was packed but service was fast and efficient. The only odd aspect is the toilets. In the evening, a member of staff has to accompany you to the toilets in an adjacent building as it requires unlocking. That aside, it’s a great restaurant with a varied and delicious value menu.

We have been visiting Yummy for years and it does not disappoint.
It is a lovely place with freshly cooked food, i am not ashamed to say we have tried most of their menu and keep going back! Although they can get extremely busy, the staff is always friendly.
In all fairness, it does not pretend to be a gourmet restaurant, it is a lovely eatery that caters for everyone and it lives up to it's name. Yummy Noodle Bar!

Excellent, freshly cooked Chinese food. Although a limited menu, it is by far, IMHO, the best Chinese in Eastbourne.
They will genuinely cook to order. You can't spend more than £6.50 on a main. Large portions too.

We have visited Yummy Noodle Bar a few times already, this time we were going to a print fair at the Towner Art Gallery, and this was the perfect opportunity for us to have lunch here. We booked a table luckily as it was quite busy just after we arrived at 1pm.
We had thai vegetarian Green curry, szechuan chicken with noodles, and vegetarian sweet and sour noodles - and vegetarian spring rolls - all excellent, the staff are all lovely too. They cook fresh and bring it to your table straight away, (ie they don't wait til the whole order is ready) which is great. I think it is cash only. Will definitely go back again and again, conveniently situated next to the train station near main shopping centre.

My family and I have been eating at Yummy for the last 16 years. We have never had a bad meal here. The food is always fresh and hot, and made very quickly, regardless of whether you order in or take away. Between us we’ve had so many dishes on the menu and they are all as tasty as each other. Yummy Noodle Bar is such great value and very reasonably priced. The staff are so lovely, kind and helpful. We love it here and would never go anywhere else for Thai food in Eastbourne or the surrounding area.

I’ve been getting a take away here every Friday for a long time. I travel a lot and am quite fussy about my food.
In Eastbourne there are only two or three places I would wholeheartedly recommend, Yummy Noodle Bar is one of them. The food is consistently great, the staff are really friendly and good fun. Their prices are very reasonable and the portions are a decent size.
If you like quick tasty Thai food look no further.

This is mine and my family’s favourite place for Thai food. We have been going here for 19 years, the food is freshy cooked and really tasty, good portions at a reasonable price. The staff are always friendly especially Nop who is really efficient and always remembers what everyone’s favourite is. Nothing is ever too much trouble for her. Have moved now and really miss my weekly visit.

Now open 7 days a week with longer opening times. Today was just a quick Padthai. Good friendly service and the advantage of seeing your dish being cooked.

We had a very tasty meal at the Yummy Noodle bar.
The actual place is not fancy but the food is freshly cooked, tasty and piping hot. The service is friendly and fast.We asked for our noodles to be spicy and they were!
I had the beef and onion noodles which was really tasty and my husband had the Singapore noodles which was equally tastyIt is a shame that we are not able to come again as we are not local, as we would have loved to try the other dishes.

What a great place, a real buzz and a true Noodle Bar atmosphere, incredibly quick service, very good menu, delicious food, exceptional value, great for a quick meal before heading into town, or a longer meal ( but go hungry as the portions are generous)!

Often go there when ever I have a couple minutes to spare as the food is cheap, decent portions, and made quickly as it's an open kitchen you can watch the food being prepared.
Great service, great price and above all great food.
