We love Sussex and we know you do too, so we asked children aged between 6 and 16 years old to write poems about why they love this amazing county.
We are also lucky enough to have three amazing guest judges, Jacqueline Wilson, Jill Hucklesby, and Dr Ollie Minton.
We had over 250 entries which gave the judges a really tough job of selecting the winners. The winners’ poems have been brought together to create the ‘We Love Sussex Poetry Book’ which are being sold at £5 each, to generate funds to help the Sussex Cancer Fund with their work.
And the winners are:
Lydia Millicent MacNaughton
Katyayani Devidhar
