‘Fat Freddie And The Queens’ are a larger than life professional Queen Tribute Band from Eastbourne who take the music seriously but not themselves!

We wanted to stay active during this period of not being able to perform, but we also wanted to do something to help a local charity at the same time.

At the beginning of the pandemic, we created a lockdown themed parody music video to “I Want To Break Free” that was picked up by More Radio and BBC Radio Sussex, and they even did an on air interview with Fat Freddie.

So to follow that up, we worked together with “You Raise Me Up” in Polegate, a charity that supports families following the death of young adults. We got the keys to their coffee shop/drop in centre for one afternoon and with the expert help of Eastbourne Based Film Maker ‘Chris Welch Filmmaker’, we were able to create the video below.
You can donate at www.youraisemeup.co.uk donate or even sharing the video on Facebook would be greatly appreciated to spread the word and help this wonderful local charity and lift some moods at the same time!
