This past Saturday, May 25th, Eastbourne's annual carnival brought the town to life with its vibrant "Into the Wild" theme. Large crowds gathered to witness the colourful procession celebrating the natural world, with entries dedicated to animals, birds, sea creatures, and various flora and fauna.

The main parade commenced at 2pm from Fisherman's Green and concluded at the picturesque Wish Tower slopes. Earlier in the day, a smaller procession wove through the town centre, beginning at 11.30am from the Enterprise Centre and ending at Victoria Place. The day’s festivities continued with a spirited street party from 4 pm, offering entertainment and joy for the entire community.

Mina O'Brien, Chair/Director of the event, remarked, "It was a wonderful day and the community really put on an amazing display of colour and vibrancy! A huge thanks to all involved in the Carnival, our sponsors for their support and all that volunteer their time to make the event a safe and happy one."

As a sponsor of the event, we had the privilege of watching the parade from the Bandstand alongside other officials and sponsors. To relive the highlights of the event, check out the photos I took during the carnival on thebestof Eastbourne Facebook page.
