Presented by Plastic Free Eastbourne, the Eastbourne Spring Water Festival 25 will raise awareness of our campaign over this 9 day week-long Festival. It begins on Saturday 10th May and ends on Sunday 18th May. Its focus again is on our precious water.
Now in its fifth year, the Festival has grown into a vibrant and widely recognised event, drawing businesses, residents, and visitors together to celebrate Eastbourne’s natural water resources and promote eco-friendly initiatives. We have an eclectic collection of events and participants that make up this Festival. We have something that is guaranteed to interest everyone.
Our website page plasticfreeeastbourne.co.uk/festival (currently being developed) is where to go to see what you might like to take part in. Events range from an Eco Fair, a Big Beach Clean, a “Turd” Paddle Out, Film Shows at the Towner Gallery, “Promenade” ~ a seafront hotels exhibition of art installations, several different walks, an interactive event focusing on a flooded shop front, Bench Dancing, water sports tasters, a yacht race, Kidical Mass bike ride, just to name a few. This tempts YOU doesn't it? This year's Festival is bigger, better and more appealing.
