With life being so busy nowadays it’s easy to entertain the idea of sitting around in our PJ’s, watching the telly and stuffing our faces with chocolate for a few days. However the reality is this will only lead to most of your precious time off being spent feeling sick!

Here at Haulaway we’ve been discussing what we’ll be doing over Easter and have come up with a few more productive ways to spend the time…

Garden Projects

With daylight saving time coming into place the weekend before, meaning we will have longer days and lighter evenings, why not get started with some work in the garden. For larger garden tasks a skip can be a really handy and stress free way to dispose of your unwanted garden waste as Lisa form our office discovered last year when she started her garden renovation. Having a clear out

We all have that one cupboard. You know the one. It contains all the items that no longer have a place in your nice tidy home, will probably never be used again, or worse, you’ve forgotten about their existence entirely! Why not use some of the extra time coming up to finally have a sort out and free up some cupboard space (also known as ‘spare room’ and ‘the loft!’). The chances are it will only take up one of your days and you’ll still have plenty of time to relax and put your feet up.

DIY

With so little time to spare these days it’s easy for those DIY jobs to find themselves bottom of the priority list. Why not tackle those this Easter and finally get that shelf put up or freshen up your living room with a lick of paint.

Family Get Together

Love them or hate them, we all make time for family at Christmas and minus the fight over who has the last roast potato and awkward games of charades, it’s usually a joyous affair. Easter is another great opportunity for a family gathering. Why not organise a family Easter Egg hunt?

Haulaway has a range of mini skips available for disposing of difficult family members…. Just joking, we can’t help with that I’m afraid!!

Get some fresh air

With spring in the air and summer on the horizon, now’s a good time to dust the cobwebs off of your bike and go for a nice long bike ride or walk. Plus you’ll burn off some of those chocolate eggs!
