Russ Deacon Home Improvements are delighted to have recently become stockists of a revolutionary new surface product made by Consentino, a Spanish manufacturer that has developed an Ultra-compact surface called Dekton.
What is Dekton?
Dekton is a result of a high tech process which represents a sped up version of a change which occurs to natural stone subject to thousands of years at high temperature.
The result is a surface which is superbly durable and has the following characteristics:
Other features include a high mechanical resistance, making Dekton ideal for counter tops, kitchen islands as well as perfect walkways, paths and driveways.
Dekton is non-porous which means it never needs to be sealed. It is a low maintenance surface making it that much easier to clean.
Dekton is non prone to UV damage and discolouration thanks to the manufacturing process. This ensures a product with colour stabilisation that will maintain it’s appearance and pigmentation over time.

The surface comes in a three sizes of thickness: 8mm, 12mm and 20mm.
