The BIG Futures Show returns to Eastbourne Sports Park on Tuesday 23rd April 2024 from 9.30am-3.00pm.
The show is the largest employability, skills and jobs event in the area and is aimed at students (aged 14+) from across East Sussex as well as parents, carers and anyone looking for work or training.
The Show is organised by Eastbourne Education Business Partnership, a registered charity, in association with Eastbourne Borough Council. 80+ organisations will be providing interactive exhibits and guidance aimed at inspiring tomorrow’s workforce.
Visitors will receive a comprehensive 32pp show guide to help them make the most of their visit. It is recognised that parents and carers play a significant role and influence in a young person’s choice of future career and are welcome to attend throughout the day.
Exhibitors will be looking for new talent and explaining what qualifications they require and what training and apprenticeships they offer in the work place. Colleges and other training providers will be on hand to promote their offer and where it fits with employer’s requirements and what they are seeking from students who apply.
A wide range of employment sectors and individual organisations will be represented at the show as listed in the stand and floor plan details shown opposite. The organisers are grateful for sponsorship from Eastbourne Borough Council, East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, Bexhill 6th Form College, Edwards Vacuum, Construction Industry Training Board, East Sussex College and Recruitment South East plus support from Wave Active, CloudConnX, CCLI, Posturite, Lightning Fibre and Soren Learning Solutions.
A dedicated job-seekers area, managed by Recruitment South East, will be promoting current job and training opportunities with show exhibitors for those seeking a more immediate choice. Entry on the day (individual or family) is £3 cash or free for job-seekers inclusive of show guide.
