Schuller & Masterclass are always up to date with their designs and colour palettes, in the next few weeks we are due to get our delivery of the latest Schuller sample doors and worktops.
When designing a kitchen it’s not just about colours and door styles although this is important. A designer has to be in tune with the customer’s needs and individual requests and try to accommodate their wish list !
The Open plan scenario has been around for a while but a slight twist on this could be to have a peninsula which still gives the option of plenty of storage and still leaves plenty of room to move around, this can then flow into the lounge/dining area using matching or contrasting colours for the furniture in that area. Also an increasing popular idea is not to have wall units above worktops, making the kitchen area light and airy and perhaps just having the cooker hood as a statement piece.
Upcoming trends include using exposed shelving in shades of metal and copper making the design slightly industrial. Softer shades of doors in taupe, biscuit and nude are also coming through in designs and well as shades of grey and blue so there is still a design and colour out there for everyone.
